Here you can see some works of art that are supposed to represent castles and the artist of the oil painting is Leo von König (1871 - 1944) and for the other two works the creator is unfortunately unknown to me, but if I find out I will note this later. When talking about castles, one immediately thinks of the Middle Ages where this stylish and breathtaking architecture decorated the area and even today numerous castles can still be found and have often been renovated and have inspired numerous artists. The architecture of some castles or palaces is often already very artistic and in addition to the simple construction you often find extraordinary buildings and some kings were very creative in planning and construction and there are numerous regional differences when it comes to appearance. Most of the castles were built in the high or late Middle Ages and were to serve as a fortress for nobles and from the 13th century, there was more and more talk of the construction of palaces and thousands of castles were created in Europe, which had different functions at the time. In art, castles are often depicted with warlike scenarios to better express certain historical events and it was often the case that castles were built in landscapes surrounded by numerous wine, hops, fruit or grain plantations and this inspired numerous artists. Castles are particularly common in landscape painting and also during the period of historicism, which was an epoch between the 19th and 20th century, it was about expressing historical themes again and this also included old buildings of castles which were artfully painted. Castles can also be found in numerous murals and it has also shaped other art styles such as the copper engraving and castles have also been expressed in numerous other epochs like romanticism. In painting there was from the 16th century the trend that more and more castles have appeared and among the painters who had stationed an example were numerous well-known artists such as Albrecht Dürer (1471 - 1528).

Whenever I saw Castle's, it gives me memories about old king's stories where king always lives in castle and hold his state. If we had such system today, our problems must be resolved.
