The Roots of European culture

Hey everyone, at the beginning I would like to welcome you to my new post and hope you are all doing well! In this article I would like to write something about an important historical topic and hope you are able to expand your knowledge.

The culture of ancient Greece is the culture that has enchanted with its diversity and has set an example in many ways and has strongly influenced the development of European culture and in this high culture lived important personalities who have strongly shaped the thought. Even before the emergence of ancient Greece as it is known, people lived there thousands of years ago and the best-known roots were put down by the Minoan and Mycenaean culture, which had a great infrastructure, but unfortunately some of it was destroyed by conflicts. The ancient Greece has provided countless achievements that were of great importance for the later development and the best known was probably the development of philosophy which was early divided into different areas and was an important basis for the understanding of fundamental questions concerning both human existence or the contexts of nature. Ancient Greek philosophers have created important foundations for thinking such as logic or the way of communication, which in turn were an important basis for other areas such as the development of science and more thinkers followed certain ideals and continued to develop patterns which led to the emergence of areas such as mathematics and others which today shapes the entire education system. The development of grammar or rhetoric, which are essential for understanding among people, was an important basis and also from a political point of view, various systems were developed in antiquity that still have an important meaning today, such as democracy. Also which role religion played had a high high priority when it comes to philosophy and early this was defined as a separate branch which convinces by its enormous variety of different legends as well as deities and it can be said that pretty much all important values of Western thought come from ancient Greece and are anchored in all areas. The religions have divided strongly in ancient Greece and numerous mystery cults have arisen which have led to the fact that this topic has become more and more divided and has also later strongly influenced other religions and of course not to be forgotten is the history of art which was discovered again in later times and influenced later art epochs and it can be said that without ancient Greece it would not have come to the emergence of European culture.
