Here you can see works of art that I created with the help of Artificial intelligence and represent some figures from Greek mythology, the muses. The muses play an important role and are also considered protective goddesses of art and in total there are nine muses which are also known as the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne and the best-known traditions can be traced back to the Greek poet Hesiod who next to Homer, is one of the most important sources of traditions from ancient Greece. The muses inhabited the Pierian area and they were known to be extremely beautiful and intelligent and each muse had its own characteristic and they were also known as companions of Apollo, who was also known for teaching them.

The nine muses are Thalia who was also the patron goddess of the comedies, Terpsichore of dance, Clio for historiography, Melpomene for tragedy, Euterpe presented the poetry as well as the flute playing, Urania astronomy and Calliope which was also associated with science and philosophy, Erato with poetry and the ninth muse was Polyhymnia which was also associated with music. Their tasks include supporting artists in need and they were also revered as the protectors of celebrations and they were often depicted with instruments or flowers. There were some places of worship for the muses and the best known was probably to be found in Rome where an own fountain was dedicated to them and to this day they are often depicted in art.
