Pineal Gland or the Third Eye
Good day dear Hive Community, first of all I would like to wish you all a pleasant day and hope you are all well! In this post, I would like to bring you a little closer to an interesting topic and hope you can expand your knowledge a little.
Some time ago, I have already written something about the pineal gland, which is also known as the third eye, and in this post I have decided to go into more detail. The pineal gland is a small endocrine organ that is responsible for producing the happiness hormone melatonin which regulates the sleep-wake cycle and this process takes place in the dark. The shape of this important small organ is somewhat similar to a pine cone and therefore it is also called pineal gland and in addition to the important function for our bio rhythm, it is also very important from a spiritual point of view and is also sometimes referred to as the inner alchemist and is also associated with the Ajna chakra. A decrease in the level of melatonin is also responsible for the fact that the body ages faster and the pineal gland also produces substances that are responsible for creating feelings of happiness or euphoria or changing consciousness. Often it is also associated with paranormal or mystical experiences and it can help to improve intuition or develop supernatural abilities and from a spiritual point of view it is probably the most important organ. From a symbolic point of view, the pine cone is often associated with eternal life and fertility and can be found in the architecture of different buildings or sculptures and also in heraldry it can be seen from time to time and is represented in various coats of arms.
In the last centuries, the pineal gland has changed a and it has become much smaller for the humanity and there are many influence actors that are responsible for the fact that this organ no longer functions as it should like the growing light pollution, nutrition, environmental toxins or more. Already in ancient cultures the people probably knew about the pineal gland and associated it as a gateway to other dimensions and thought that it would be possible to see things that would otherwise not be recognized and is not called a third eye for no reason. In ancient Egypt it was often associated with the eye of the god Horus and in ancient Mesopotamia it was associated with Bucket and Cone, which was also a symbol of twin properties. It can also be found in Greek and Roman mythology and was usually associated with the staff of the god of wine Dionysus and his Roman equivalent Bacchus. Also in the rod of the osiris the pine cone can be seen which is wrapped in snakes and the snake is additionally a symbol of wisdom and in ancient India see many other cultures it also appears and is an important symbol.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new about this topic! I captured these pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens and in addition, I created the other ones with the help of artificial intelligence!
Still I can't make difference between male and female cone of it. Once I was visiting my nearby city and I saw these cones.
The male blossoms have a brown manifestation and contain the pollen and the female are rather yellow or green.
