One plant + another🌱

Welcome to a new post, dear Hiver!

I got a new plant for my garden, and without knowing it, one of the same species arrived.

I was able to get a plant known as "mother-in-law's tongue," which is very important for my garden because I had been looking for exactly that kind of "mother-in-law's tongue" for a long time.

I already told you all of this in my post:

But what I didn't tell you is that the next day, Mom brought me several of these same plants.

The difference is that these plants Mom brought me had roots. The one I brought, on the other hand, was just a stalk that I found alone and without roots.

A few days passed while I waited for some time to repot it, and the big day arrived. I repotted it in a container along with the one I also brought. And now I have several of these little plants.

This plant helps clean the air, which draws my attention to using it as an indoor plant, especially for my bedroom and living room.

In the meantime, I want to wait for it to reproduce a lot more, so I can get several. Some for my personal use and others for me, the plant store I'm working at.

And apparently, its reproduction isn't as slow as I thought. Today I saw a small shoot peeking out, and it looked beautiful.

Now I just have to wait a little longer for it to become very leafy.

I know that propagating plants takes time, but it doesn't matter because I have a lot of patience for it, and it's also something I really enjoy. Watching them grow, seeing each leaf, or any interesting changes.

I also have to take care of them. I have to protect them from the turtles, who do everything they can to get into the garden during the rainy season. Well... At home, we make it easy for them, because when it rains, whoever is in the yard runs around leaving the gates open. This causes them to enter the ornamental plant garden and cause devastation, either by eating the plants or by stepping on them.

So I have to be on the lookout.

I also have to protect some plants from the rain. This season isn't good for all plants. Excessive water rots their roots, and if you don't take care of them in time, you'll lose the entire plant without the possibility of recovering it. But I'll tell you about this in detail in another post, so you're aware of it.

Meanwhile, in this one, I'll tell you about my happiness as a plant mom. About developing patience, and about all those plans that excite me so much and have to do with plants.

And I hope to visit the community again this week. I miss it so much (well, I miss all the communities where I write regularly). I've been away for a bit. Also from my garden due to my internship. But I'll be back soon to share more new things with you. I'm eager and happy about it.

Si, hay que dedicarles tiempo, pero también hay plantas que no requieren tantos cuidados como los cactus. Son bastante resistentes si se cuidan bien.
