Mañana son las elecciones presidenciales en mi país, Venezuela. He tratado de escribir algo en mi blog en Hive como cada noche. Me gusta escribir, y para mí es parte del día, ese momento donde me desconecto de todo para dar rienda suelta a mis manos que van poco a poco armando esos artículos que me caracterizan.
Pero hoy, ha sido diferente... Porque no sé que pase en mi país mañana y después de mañana. Sé por quién voy a votar, y Venezuela pide un cambio a gritos, la unión de las familias, que tengamos oportunidades de mejores empleos, mejores sueldos, que nuestros abuelos no queden solos por la migración, que no haya más deserción escolar, que los servicios públicos sirvan, que los venezolanos tengamos calidad de vida. Ese es nuestro sueño, y puede que se convierta en una meta.
La realidad es una: Venezuela necesita un cambio, y el modelo chavista que hemos llevado durante 26 años no es la solución.
Al menos para mí no lo es. Nací en el "socialismo", y he visto como algunos de mis sueños se derrumbaron frente a mis ojos, y pare de contar. Escribo esto con lágrimas en los ojos y esperanza en el corazón. Quiero que mis hijos tengan más oportunidades de las que yo tuve, quiero vivir en mi país y que los sellos en mi pasaporte sean porque visite como turista muchos lugares, no porque tuve que irme debido a que no pude seguir viviendo en mi país.
Le pido a Dios que lo que suceda de hoy en adelante sea bueno para todos dentro del país. El venezolano necesita tener una vida feliz, normal, y plena. El venezolano lo merece porque somos gente que trabaja, que lucha, que estudia, que sale adelante.
Mañana será un día importante para Venezuela, tenemos fe.
Tomorrow are the presidential elections in my country, Venezuela. I have tried to write something on my blog in Hive as every night. I like to write, and for me it is part of the day, that moment where I disconnect everything to give free rein to my hands that are gradually putting together those articles that characterize me.
But today, it has been different ... because I don't know what happens in my country tomorrow and after tomorrow. I know who am I going to vote for, and Venezuela asks for a change to, the union of families, that we have opportunities for better jobs, better salaries, that our grandparents are not left alone for migration, that there is no more school dropout, than the Public services serve, that Venezuelans have quality of life. That is our dream, and it may become a goal.
The reality is one: Venezuela needs a change, and the Chavista model that we have taken for 26 years is not the solution.
At least for me it is not. I was born in "socialism", and I have seen how some of my dreams collapsed in front of my eyes, and stopped. I write this with tears in my eyes and hope in my heart. I want my children to have more opportunities than I had, I want to live in my country and that the stamps in my passport are because it visits many places as a tourist, not because I had to go because I could not continue living in my country.
I ask God that what happens today is good for everyone within the country. The Venezuelan needs to have a happy, normal and full life. The Venezuelan deserves it because we are people who work, who fight, who studies, who gets ahead.
Tomorrow will be an important day for Venezuela, we have faith.
