La analogía del jardín | The garden analogy
Dicen que la paciencia es una virtud, y en mi opinión, la constancia es su mejor amiga.
Desde niña me gustan las plantas, los grandes árboles, las flores, quería hasta tener un huerto, así que al tener la suficiente edad para experimentar comencé a sembrar todo lo que quise.
Con el tiempo, continué haciéndolo, de hecho, las plantas han estado muy presentes en mi vida, tanto que no la imagino sin ellas.
De hecho, me mude algunas veces, en el proceso perdí algunas plantas, pero, a donde quiera que he llegado si hay una tierra seca y vacía, la lleno de todo el verde de la naturaleza que sea posible.
En ocasiones las cosas se salen de control, como por ejemplo ahora en mi jardín algunas plantas crecieron de forma desordenada, debo podar, e incluso reubicar algunas.
He descubierto que no importa a donde vaya, siempre podre tener un jardín, un lugar hermoso donde me pueda sentar en las tardes a conversar, tener algo que ver, o ser una parte importante para que estas puedan existir.
Para ello hay que ser constante, creo que es en lo que más he tenido constancia en mi vida. El motivo es que me gustan, amo las plantas, amo la vida, y ver todo lo nuevo que trae cada día. Es una actividad que nunca aburre, y donde hay algo que hacer cada ciclo, o, cada día.
They say that patience is a virtue, and in my opinion, perseverance is its best friend.
Since I was a child I have liked plants, big trees, flowers, I even wanted to have a garden, so when I was old enough to experiment I started to plant everything I wanted.
Over time, I continued to do so, in fact, plants have been very present in my life, so much so that I can't imagine it without them.
In fact, I moved a few times, in the process I lost some plants, but, wherever I have gone, if there is a dry and empty land, I fill it with all the green of nature that is possible.
Sometimes things get out of control, like for example now in my garden some plants grew in a disorderly way, I have to prune, and even relocate some.
I have discovered that no matter where I go, I can always have a garden, a beautiful place where I can sit in the afternoons to talk, have something to see, or be an important part of making things happen.
To do this, you have to be consistent, I think that is what I have been most consistent with in my life. The reason is that I like plants, I love life, and I love seeing all the new things that each day brings. It is an activity that never gets boring, and where there is something to do every cycle, or, every day.
También, he acompañado a esa señora constancia con paciencia. ¡Porque hay que tener muchísima cuando siembras!
Esperar a que germinen, el tiempo de trasplante, a que den flores, que salgan los frutos. Y luego comenzar todo de nuevo.
Entonces, solo queda disfrutar cada momento siendo un espectador que se fascina con todo.
Así es la vida, como tener un jardín, y es en lo que trabajo para aplicarlo a todo. Constancia para estudiar, para trabajar, para cada meta. También debería añadirlo a algunos aspectos que he olvidado por completo.
Paciencia para que todo salga bien. Darle tiempo todo lo que lo merite. Y mientras trabajo en ello, disfrutar.

That's life, like having a garden, and that's what I work on to apply it to everything. Perseverance to study, to work, to each goal. I should also add it to some aspects that I have completely forgotten.
Patience for everything to turn out well. Give it time as much as it deserves. And while I work on it, enjoy it.
A veces no quieres hacer nada, porque hay día nublado donde la lluvia no para. Pero, en ese momento, también hay que salir al jardín. Colocar alguna reja, un techo para evitar que la embestida de la lluvia dañe las plantas. O simplemente salir a mojarte un poco porque es tiempo del nacimiento de las tortugas, y debes adelantarte a tu perro, por si acaso.
Papá hacía esto último. Y esto inspira parte de estas líneas.
Dejar de buscar escusas. Hacer las cosas esté cansada o no. Es la tarea que tengo, la que anote en mi agenda y trato de cumplir cada día.
No es sencillo. Porque hay mucho para hacer; sin embargo, no es imposible. Si pude construir mi jardín una y otra vez sin rendirme nunca, y ahora planeo expandirlo. Puedo hacer cualquier cosa que me proponga.
El secreto está en amar eso que haces con todo tu corazón. Que sea un amor que te enloquece, de esos por lo que te la pasas la noche pensando.
Así debe ser cada meta en nuestra vida, para que podamos cumplirla con la analogía del jardín.
Sometimes you don't want to do anything, because there is a cloudy day where the rain doesn't stop. But, at that moment, you also have to go out into the garden. Put up some fence, a roof to prevent the onslaught of rain from damaging the plants. Or simply go out to get a little wet because it is time for the turtles to be born, and you have to get ahead of your dog, just in case.
Dad did the latter. And this inspires part of these lines.
Stop looking for excuses. Do things whether I am tired or not. It is the task I have, the one I write down in my agenda and try to accomplish every day.
It is not easy. Because there is a lot to do; however, it is not impossible. I was able to build my garden over and over again without ever giving up, and now I plan to expand it. I can do anything I set my mind to.
The secret is to love what you do with all your heart. Let it be a love that drives you crazy, one of those that you spend the night thinking about.
This is how every goal in our life should be, so that we can fulfill it with the analogy of the garden.

Me encantan las plantas también y platarlas, aunque todavía no tengo la paciencia para míralas y esperar con tranquilidad a que surjan, me entra una inquietud y la reviso casa día, parece una eternidad. Muy bonito comprar este arte con la vida💚
