Wednesday Walk on the narrow streets of Poreč

For the featured image in this post I took the photo of the early 20th century Palazzo building in Poreč (Istria, Croatia), which is today home to BO Hotel Palazzo. In front of the building on the sea floats Prince of Venice catamaran.

This is the location where this catamaran is usually moored. I'm not sure, but I think it only sails between Poreč in Croatia and Venice in Italy during the summer tourist season.

Hotel Pallazo is located on the sea edge of the old town Poreč , which is usually quite deserted during the off-season, but it is always possible to meet some walkers there.

Poreč (it. Parenzo) old town, as a former Roman colony, has retained the original Roman layout of it's streets. The main street of old town still has old Roman name, Decumanus (Dekumanska in Croatian language). This one can be very crowded in summer months, when thousands of tourists visit Poreč and close-by travel resorts.

During the walk, which took some 30 minutes I made some really nice photos of the narrow old town streets of Poreč and I hope to show them to you in one of next photo stories.

The Name on the hotel "Pallazo" just reminded me of a particular dress, it's a trouser precisely. The hotel looks nice

Thanks @tattoodjay ... I'm glad you like photos. And yes, those catamarans are pretty awesome vessels. Last year, this catamaran got untied in a storm, but luckily everything ended well.
