Tym razem nie będzie o Czechach. Ani nawet o górach. Będzie o małym miasteczku w województwie opolskim, o którego istnieniu nie miałam pojęcia. Chodzi o Głogówek. Długo zastanawiałam się czy pisać na jego temat, bo mam wrażenie, że tylko delikatnie musnęłam to miasto. Przeszłam przez nie, ale nie poświęciłam mu wystarczająco dużo uwagi i czasu.

Mogę tylko wrzucić kilka zdjęć, natomiast nie jestem w stanie nic o tym miejscu opowiedzieć. Oczywiście w internecie są tacy, co bardzo dobrze opisali to miasteczko, więc jak ktoś będzie ciekawy szczegółów to polecam zajrzeć tutaj

This time, it won't be about the Czech Republic. Or even about mountains. It will be about a small town in the Opole Province, which I had no idea existed. It's called Głogówek. I thought long and hard about whether to write about it, because I feel that I only touched on this town lightly. I walked through it, but I didn't devote enough attention and time to it.

I can only post a few photos, but I can't say anything about this place. Of course, there are people on the internet who have described this town very well, so if anyone is interested in the details, I recommend taking a look here. But it's only in Polish.

Na swoje usprawiedliwienie dodam tylko, że znaleźliśmy się w Głogówku już dość późno. Mimo wszystko miasteczko zrobiło na mnie duże wrażenie i wydawało mi się, że jest pełne zabytków. 

Na zdjęciu powyżej ratusz z 1608 roku i widoczna figura Nepomucena.

Budynek ten znajduje się w centralnej części rynku, gdzie można znaleźć bardzo ciekawe kamienice.

In my defence, I will only add that we arrived in Głogówek quite late. Nevertheless, the town made a big impression on me and seemed to be full of historical monuments.

The photo above shows the town hall from 1608 and the statue of Nepomucen.

This building is located in the central part of the market square, where you can find very interesting tenement houses.

Jedną z głównych atrakcji Głogówka zapewne jest zamek Oppersdorfów. Niestety o tej godzinie już zamknięty.

One of the main attractions of Głogówek is undoubtedly the Oppersdorf Castle. Unfortunately, it is already closed at this time.

Wiadomo, że mnie ciekawią nie tylko te znane zabytki, ale też różne nietypowe i nieoczywiste rzeczy.

A poniżej prawdopodobnie szyld jakiegoś już nieistniejącego warsztatu.

Moją uwagę przyciągnęły również płaskorzeźby znajdujące się na Domu Mody.

My attention was also drawn to the reliefs on the Fashion House.

A wracając do zabytków to na pewno warto wejść do kościoła św. Barłomieja.

And returning to historical monuments, it is definitely worth visiting St. Bartholomew's Church.

Nam przypadkiem udało się jeszcze wejść na wieżę z dzwonami. Nie wiem czy jest ona udostępniania turystom.

We happened to be able to climb the bell tower. I don't know if it is open to tourists.

Tuż za kościołem znajduje się punkt widokowy.

There is a viewpoint just behind the church.

Z lewej strony wieża wodna a z prawej kościół św. Mikołaja.

W Głogówku jest też obserwatorium, mury obronne, brama zamkowa, wieża więzienna, synagoga, tablica upamiętniająca wizytę Beethovena czy Jana Kazimierza...

Bardzo żałuję, że nie zobaczyłam domku loretańskiego, który znajduje się w kościele na terenie klasztoru Franciszkanów. Również nie było czasu na zwiedzenie cmentarza żydowskiego. 

Mam poczucie, że do Głogówka jeszcze trzeba wrócić. Na spokojnie. 

W okolicy jest też sporo zamków i pałaców. Udało mi się też odwiedzić Biedrzychowice. To mała wieś, która zapewne nie jest znana, ale jest ciekawa przez to, że na ścianach budynków namalowane są stare zdjęcia w postaci murali. I tutaj też nie mam zdjęć wszystkich, ale może zachęcę kogoś do znalezienia pozostałych.

On the left is the water tower and on the right is St. Nicholas Church.

Głogówek also has an observatory, defensive walls, a castle gate, a prison tower, a synagogue, and a plaque commemorating the visit of Beethoven and Jan Kazimierz...

I really regret not seeing the Loreto chapel, which is located in the church on the grounds of the Franciscan monastery. I also didn't have time to visit the Jewish cemetery.

I feel that I need to return to Głogówek. At my leisure.

There are also many castles and palaces in the area. I also managed to visit Biedrzychowice. It is a small village, which is probably not well known, but it is interesting because old photographs are painted on the walls of buildings in the form of murals. I don't have photos of all of them here either, but maybe I will encourage someone to find the rest.

Podsumowując: mam ogromny niedosyt zarówno jeśli chodzi o zdjęcia jak i o miejsca, których nie udało mi się zobaczyć.

To sum up: I feel a great sense of dissatisfaction both in terms of the photos and the places I didn't get to see.
