Walk around Krakow. September 2024. Part 2

DSC00515.jpg

Hello, guys! How about strolling around along old streets of Krakow with me today?

Don't worry if you missed the first part. Here is the link to it.

The winter is here, with some snow and some rain, and freezing wind. We have passed the winter solstice point. So the days will continue to get longer. Meanwhile, good memories can also warm you and make you smile.

Entrance of the Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord. Right here is the entrance to the underground part. That's where the art exhibition was taking place.

Roman Catholic church of St. Catherine of Alexandria, Augustinian Monastery. Kazimierz, Krakow.
The construction of this church was not completed according to the project. There was not enough money for the main dome. For some reason, it sometimes lacks the traditional symmetry.

Map of aid to Ukraine from the Polish Order of Malta. As you can see, at a time when the International Red Cross was completely helpless and inactive in Ukraine, this order found a way to deliver aid to Zaporizhzhia and Mariupiol.

One of the oldest cities in Poland, charming in design on offer to keep one focused on buildings. Marvel at the carving into stone achieved on many ancient sites.

Walking around medieval marketplace, word has it you can feel the atmosphere here.

Thanks for taking us along via your photography.

That iron gate is amazing! It almost looks like one could walk right into it and down the hallway inside it! 😮

Looks like I need to visit Krakow properly again. I've been twice and both times it seems I've only hang around the touristy places, haven't seen any of the places you've been.
