You can't go any further east / Více na východ už to nejde

Hello everyone

Tak jako loni a předloni a předpředloni atd. trávím část prázdnin na podnikové chatě v Horní Lomné. A jako každý rok přemýšlím kam zajít, co zde dělat.
Loni jsme třeba s rodinkou navštívili zbytky opevnění Velká Šance o kterém jsem se zde na HIVE taky zmínil.
A kam tedy vyrazit letos?
Teploty jsou docela vysoké a tak je třeba zvolit něco přijatelného.
Co takhle nejvýchodnější bod České republiky? Proč ne!

Nejvýchodnější bod ČR se nachází na území obce Bukovec v okrese Frýdek-Místek, na česko-polské hranici ve Slezských Beskydech. Od místa ubytování jsme to měli cirka půl hodinky autem.
Místo se nalézá v lese na břehu potoka Olecky. Auto jsme nechali nedaleko u hlavní cesty a k nejvýchodnějšímu místu jsme se vydali pěšky.

Just like last year and the year before and the year before that, etc., I spend part of my vacation at the company cottage in Horní Lomná. And like every year, I think about where to go, what to do here.
Last year, for example, my family and I visited the remains of the Velká Šance fortification, which I also mentioned here on HIVE.
And where to go this year?
The temperatures are quite high, so you need to choose something acceptable.
How about the easternmost point of the Czech Republic? Why not!

The easternmost point of the Czech Republic is located in the territory of the municipality of Bukovec in the district of Frýdek-Místek, on the Czech-Polish border in the Silesian Beskydy. It took us about half an hour by car from the place of accommodation.
The place is located in the forest on the bank of the Olecky stream. We left the car not far from the main road and walked to the easternmost point.

I cesta může být cíl a tak jsme se cestou kochali zcela běžnými věcmi jako jsou třeba pole a luční kvítí.
K místu se jde po turistické stezce a cestu lemují turistické informační tabule.

Even the journey can be a destination, so we enjoyed quite ordinary things on the way, such as fields and meadow flowers.
The place is reached by a hiking trail and tourist information boards line the way.

Jen co jsme se pokochali loukou vstoupili jsme do smrkového lesa, který nám poskytl potřebnou dávku stínu a ochlazení.

As soon as we admired the meadow, we entered the spruce forest, which provided us with the necessary amount of shade and cooling.

Samotné místo je označeno velkým kamenem s pamětní deskou a přesnými souřadnicemi, hraničním mezníkem a přístřeškem k odpočinku.

The place itself is marked by a large stone with a commemorative plaque and exact coordinates, a border marker and a shelter for rest.

A pokud by bylo někomu horko až přespříliš, může se osvěžit v přilehlé říčce.

And if someone gets too hot, they can refresh themselves in the nearby river.

Byť se jednalo o krátký a nenáročný výlet, potěšil nás a přivedl na zajímavé a hezké místo.
Pokud by se někdo z Vás nacházel v blízkém okolí, toto místo, ačkoliv nenabízí nějaká superlativa, jistě stojí za návštěvu.

Although it was a short and easy trip, it pleased us and brought us to an interesting and beautiful place.
If any of you are in the vicinity, this place, although it does not offer any superlatives, is certainly worth a visit.
