My visit to Ras Mela
hello everyone,
how are you all Hope everyone is doing very well. By God's grace I am also very well.
In today's blog I will share some things about traveling to Ras Mela.
Few days ago I went to this festival. It is being held right next to Madhyamgram station. For many years this fair is held every year for 15 days at the same place. Every year I attend this fair but not always with the intention of shopping. I like to go around and see everything in the fair.
This year's fair has started not long ago. It will be three to four days since it started, I went around once that day. Every year I visit here at least twice to explore this fair thoroughly. This fair is not held in a very large area, but the place where it is held is crowded. There is no space for walking, there are so many people, so many shops are sitting.....
However, when I went there two days ago, I did not go there alone. I went with a friend of mine. This fair is held next to my girlfriend's house. A little later that evening I went to Madhyamgram station by train. After getting down from the train I found my girlfriend already there and she was waiting for me. After meeting him, I entered the fair through one side of the fair while the two were talking. First of all, I was surprised to see the crowd of people, so many people came to visit the fair so quickly! People of the city love the fair so much that samples are available every year.
There is a small field like area next to the Madhyamgram station with a variety of shops covering the entire area of the field and all around the road. Hundreds of shops packed into a small space. Various types of work items, hobby items were seen in this fair. Mats, sleeves, pegs, knives, whisks, pressure cookers, bones, pans were nothing that could not be found. In some places, I saw that clothes were also brought to match. Another thing I noticed while comparing is that the number of girls' items is more here. Girls' cosmetics shops were numerous. There were also various home decoration items, various food shops. The food shops included everything from pithapuli shops to sweet shops, pan shops, various fried delicacies. Nuts were being sold by roasting them in sweet shops.
If there is a fair, there will be town hall. There was a carousel and many other things to entertain the children. I also got to see the magic shop at this fair. Where different types of magic were being shown. Those magic things were being sold for some money and the customers were being taught magic how to do that magic. There I spend a lot of time walking around with my girlfriend and watching everything. I didn't eat anything from the fair as I found the quality of food in the fair to be a little bad. I enjoyed walking around, seeing where people were doing and what they were buying.
I forgot to say another thing, I played the ring while matching. In exchange for twenty rupees, take five rings and throw them on the object placed in front of you. Even after trying with five rings, I could not bring anything in my ring, that is, twenty rupees were completely lost. I enjoyed it a lot even though it was a loss of money. I spent about an hour in the fair. Before leaving the fair, I bought almonds for home for 50 rupees and Jilapi for my girlfriend for 40 rupees. Thus ended my fair wanderings that day.
