Mi Foto y su Historia 2: Antiguo Banco Internacional. ....Esp-Eng.
Hola, de nuevo por aquí feliz para compartir con ustedes algo de mi ciudad, de mis fotos y la historia de las mismas, contadas a mi manera, por lo que recuerdo, espero lo disfruten como yo.

Este edificio de una estructura para mi muy grande e imponente, cuando yo entendi de razones, sobre que eran las cosas, ahi funciono casi siempre entidades bancarias, primero el Banco Royal, cuya imagen o logo era la de un leon, luego paso a ser Banco Internacional.
Porque se de esto, porque yo acompañe a mi mama muchas veces a este lugar cuando fue el primer banco, que ella hacia efectivos sus pagos quincenales como maestra, por ser la mayor la acompañaba.

Adentro el banco era como estilo colonial, techos altos, al final se podia ver una escalera a un costado, para acceder al piso superior, las taquillas sus ventanas eran de madera con sus vidrios claro esta, por un costado que da a la Calle Dalla Costa, que tiene grandes ventanales, en las mañanas mas que todo, entraba mucha luz solar, dando una claridad al mismo. Al frente como ven, unos balcones. Ya el color se ha perdido pero siempre fue como azul rey con los bordes en blanco. En la parte superior ya no tiene techo, asi como esta tambien representa un peligro de derrumbe, esperemos que nunca pase.

Luego cuando paso a ser Banco Internacional, el cambio fue solo eso de nombre porque por dentro seguia siendo igual. Que pasaria luego no se, porque cerro sus puertas, mas nunca funciono nada ahi, actualmente se encuentra en total estado de abandono, sirve hasta de casa de algunos indigentes. Se dice que el banco dejo de funcionar en 1990, que lo compro otro banco, pero nunca abrieron como tal.

Es como dicen casa sola, se cae, se puede aplicar aquí tambien, por el deterioro en que se puede ver. Que da hasta lastima verlo asi, despues de lo vi tan bonito en mi infancia.
Da mucha tristeza y dolor, que como dejaron que esta estructura se perdiera, ya creo que remoderla no seria posible, ya sus bases deben estar sensibles, habria que derribarla, luego hacer algo que sea como llamativo, ya que esta en pleno centro del Paseo Orinoco, frente al Mirador Angostura y el rio Orinoco.

Solo quienes como yo conocimos como era este lugar, podemos decir que era muy bonito, cerrar mis ojos y recordar esos años, que al abrirlos y ver como esta hora, da mucha tristeza.

Then, when it became Banco Internacional, the change was just a name change because internally it remained the same. I don’t know what happened afterward, because it closed its doors, and nothing ever operated there again; it’s currently in a state of total abandonment and even serves as a shelter for some homeless people. It’s said that the bank stopped operating in 1990 and was bought by another bank, but it never actually opened for business.

It’s just like they say, “a house left to itself will fall apart”—and that applies here too, given the deterioration you can see. It’s actually sad to see it like this, after seeing it so beautiful during my childhood.
It’s very sad and painful to think that they let this structure fall into disrepair. I don’t think renovating it would be possible anymore—its foundations must be compromised by now. It would have to be torn down, and then something eye-catching should be built in its place, since it’s right in the heart of the Paseo Orinoco, across from the Mirador Angostura and the Orinoco River.

Hola cuando dices que no lo conocias me da la impresion de que eres de mi misma ciudad Ciudad Bolivar, sino lo eres, es algo nuevo para ti entonces. Si en sus tiempos que fue util, un lugar muy bonito, que apenas queda algo del color que se ha ido perdiendo con el sol y la lluvia, me encantan los balcones, pero bueno es lo que queda.
