Hola amigos, ya estoy en mi casa luego de pasar unos dias de vacaciones en otra ciudad en Cantaura, Estado Anzoategui en Venezuela, porque viven unos amigos, que me invitaron, asi que luego de organizar algunas cosas me fui con mi hijo, mi hija no me acompaño esta vez, ya que estaba en otra parte y me hubiese gustado mucho que hubiese ido, bueno sera para otra oportunidad.
Pasamos como 4 dias, uno de los cuales me llevaron a conocer la Iglesia del pueblo, asi le dicen ellos mismos, por ser tan pequeño pero tiene muchas cosas como la iglesia.
La iglesia lleva por nombre Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, en honor a ella, que segun datos historicos, fue nombrada patrona de todo el Estado Anzoategui, donde es venerada en toda la entidad.
En Cantaura la iglesia es pequeña pero me gusto mucho su diseño arquitectonico, que le falta algo de pintura pero aun asi se sigue viendo muy bonita, en su exterior su fachada, como en su interior, que estaba aun abierta, terminaba la misa, pero seguia mucha gente adentro, asi que aproveche para entrar y admirarla por dentro desde arriba hacia abajo.
En la parte central atras esta la imagen de su santa patrona Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, esta se conmemora cada 2 de febrero, donde me dijeron que hacen fiestas en honor a ella, los feligreses de la religion catolica. Tambien estaban las imagenes de la Virgen del Valle, patrona de Oeiente, Nuestra Señora de Coromoto Patrona de Venezuela.
La iglesia por dentro parece como esas de las peliculas de esos pueblitos, a un lado estaba una gran pintura del Beato venezolano el Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez.
Tambien hay una lapida con el nombre de Fray Nicolas de Odena, que fallecio el 15 de febrero de 1894, es decir tiene mas de 150 años que fallecio. En algunas iglesias catolicas es como tradicion sepultar ahi a padres, sacerdotes.
Afuera de la iglesia se puede ver la torre donde estan las campanas que cuando suenan es el llamado a misa. Encontrar la iglesia no tiene perdida porque esta cerca de la entrada a Cantaura a la izquierda, en su contorno esta un pequeño boulevard, una fuente, una pequeña estacion policial, en las noches se ven muchas personas paseando, hay ventas de comida rapida, es como un lugar para que los habitantes ahi tengan donde recrearse.
Cuando tenga la oportunidad de volver a ir procurare que sea de dia, para tener mejores fotos, como del boulevard y de la Plaza Bolivar, que quedaba mas adelante.
Total que me encanto haber conocido esta iglesia.

All in all, I was very happy to see this church.

Hola mi bella....si es una linda iglesia a mi me gustan mucho y me llaman la atencion es su estructura su arquitectura, me recuerda esos castillos de los cuentos de princesas y las hadas.
Esas lamparas tambien son hermosas.
