Un día con mi novia en el Hospital Central de Maracay | A day with my girlfriend at the central hospital of Maracay [ESP-ENG]
¡Saludos a toda la comunidad de Hive, Liketu y Family Friends! Espero que todos estén muy bien durante el día de hoy. El pasado 12 de enero del 2025, acompañé a mi novia al hospital central de Maracay.
Greetings to the whole Hive, Liketu and Family Friends community! I hope you are all very well today. Last January 12, 2025, I accompanied my girlfriend to the central hospital in Maracay.
Desde el día anterior se estaba planeando eso, debido a que su tío sufrió un accidente de tráfico y tiene la parte derecha de la cadera partida. Fue tan grave que tuvieron que trasladarlo para una cirugía de emergencia el pasado 31 de diciembre del 2024. Fue una lástima que a la familia de mi novia, el día de Nochevieja, les haya ocurrido esta situación.
They had been planning this since the day before, because his uncle was in a car accident and has a broken right hip. It was so serious that he had to be transferred for emergency surgery on 31 December 2024. It was a pity that this situation happened to my girlfriend's family on New Year's Eve.
La apoyé lo más que pude en esta situación comenzando este año. El lado positivo es que se pidió ayuda, se hicieron rifas y se recolectó el dinero muchísimo antes de lo que se esperaba. Ha sido una bendición por esa parte; queda una cirugía para su tío que se realizará este jueves. A pesar de que hayan empezado un año fuerte, todo ha salido muy bien, chicos. Mi novia quería mi apoyo ya que yo vivo en Maracay y se me hace más fácil llegar al hospital.
I supported her as much as I could in this situation starting this year. On the positive side, help was asked for, raffles were held and money was collected much sooner than expected. It has been a blessing on that side; there is one surgery left for her uncle which will take place this Thursday. Even though you have had a strong start to the year, everything has gone very well, guys. My girlfriend wanted my support as I live in Maracay and it makes it easier for me to get to the hospital.
Los planes cambiaron por un momento y me pasaron buscando en la pasarela de la avenida Maracay, más conocido como Rest Mi Arepa. Un amigo de su papá traía a la mamá de mi novia, a mi novia, su tía, su hermana y su primo. Solo era cuestión de que me llegara a esa parada; yo no suelo cruzar autopistas, pero de ida me tocó. El lado positivo es que de regreso no hacía falta cruzar, chicos.
Plans changed for a moment and I happened to be looking for them at the walkway on Maracay Avenue, better known as Rest Mi Arepa. A friend of his dad's was bringing my girlfriend's mother, my girlfriend, her aunt, her sister and her cousin. It was just a matter of me getting to that stop; I don't usually cross motorways, but on the way there it was my turn. On the plus side, there was no need to cross on the way back, guys.
Pasé toda la tarde con la familia de mi novia presente; ella estaba muy feliz por poder estar ese día con ella. Yo estaba el doble de feliz por apoyarla en un momento así; es la primera vez que vivo una situación así. Nos tomamos varias fotos para tenerlas de recuerdo; como teníamos niños, no podían entrar al hospital, por lo tanto nosotros dos nos quedamos afuera cuidándolos. Luego de un rato jugando y compartiendo con ellos, les compré un jugo ya que querían algo rico. Fue un gran día para estar con ellos; incluso cargué a la hermana menor de mi novia. Todos nos llevamos muy bien.
I spent the whole afternoon with my girlfriend's family present; she was very happy to be with her that day. I was twice as happy to support her at a time like this; it is the first time I have experienced such a situation. We took several photos to keep as souvenirs; as we had children, they could not enter the hospital, so the two of us stayed outside to look after them. After some time playing and sharing with them, I bought them some juice as they wanted something tasty. It was a great day to be with them; I even held my girlfriend's younger sister. We all got along very well.
El amigo del papá de mi novia, que se llama William, me dijo que cuando toda esta situación pase y los tíos se recuperen, me incluirán en un viaje para la playa. Me siento muy feliz de llevarme bien con la familia de mi pareja. Bien chicos de Hive, espero les haya gustado las fotografías y el post por completo; yo estoy agradecido por tener la oportunidad de compartir con ustedes cosas más relacionadas con mi vida personal. ¡Muchas bendiciones para todos ustedes!
My girlfriend's father's friend, who is called William, told me that when this whole situation passes and the uncles recover, he will include me in a trip to the beach. I am very happy to get along with my partner's family.
