The beauty in nature

I think I have one way or the other spoken about how much I love photography.
I am a lover of social activities, probably apart from reading and writing, even tho they have a lot of advantages, but no! (No, not even probably, definitely!)

Growing up, I never saw myself liking anything relating or related to photography, I mean not at all, but my grandfather was a photographer, in fact, when we were little and we visited him, he'd bring his camera and there is one of his big red clothing material, which served as a backdrop as if then, that he will bring from his... wherever he used to keep it (as of then), and so he will now bring this red backdrop and that his small camera, we'd then go the back of his compound, he'd now tie the red cloth, (that was used as his backdrop as of then) to anything that could accommodate it, and so we'd stand in front of the material, while he takes the pictures.

My point from this boring story was that I even used to laugh at him when he carried his camera, I really didn't know I would one day be so interested in anything related to photography...

Look at me now. Few years ago, my immediate younger sister was gifted a phone around the 31st of December, I didn't have a phone then, I was so jealous, but still very happy for her, I mean I was so happy because I know I'd use it too, and so I started getting interested in things like taking pictures with her phone, and the funniest part of me having interest in taking pictures were not fir human purpose, I only enjoyed taking pictures of anything nature, anything natural, like the sun, the sky, the clouds, insects of all kinds that I can see, including house flies and dragon flies, and so on...
Some people loved and encouraged me to continue, while some criticized what I was doing, they asked me what I was doing, I'd see cockroach, I'd carry camera, I'd see breeze, I'd still carry camera, and so many things like that, but I tried all my best so discouraging words like don't get to my head, I tried even harder not to stop, not give up that passion, cause I saw a brighter end from the beginning (I'm not talking about light at the end of the toilet, hmmm, tunnel not toilet oo, lol.. Nigerians can relate 😅)

And now, just so you know, I am certified photographer, I attended an academy named MAVA, Motive Africa visual academy, and now, I am a proud photographer, people celebrate my works more, less criticism, and so on...

This picture was taken by me today, rain fell this morning, and after the rain, there were lot of droplets on the decoration plant's, so it captured my attention, and so I took the picture with a Samsung galaxy S8 android phone, and so that was the result after a slight edit.

It was beautiful in my sight, and so I had no choice than to take it like that...
