Everything I Ever Longed For...

Someone once told me that I can't have it all in one go.
Yes, I know he was right but I still kept my hopes high, hoping that I could have everything I ever longed for or wished for in the palm of my hands.
Has that prayer been answered yet? Or did the wish come true?
Obviously, No! But my thoughts on those things have drifted a bit, not far off but to an extent.

I know I can't have everything I ever long for with just a button pressed, I would have to work my ass out sometimes to get the things I need, and sometimes I will have them even without making a lot of effort, this is how life is but in all, I am beginning to let this into my subconsciousness and it has been a great deal for me so far so good and I am glad it's not leaving anytime soon.

Today, I am reminded of that friend who made me understand this and let me see the reasons why I can't have it all in one, just like I fantasized.
I am reminded of the fact that though I can't have everything I ever long for in one body, I can still make the best out of the things I have.
My expectations may not have come in the form of everything I ever wished for or longed for, but I will say they came in undeniable ways and I couldn't resist but stretch forth to grab them.

It's been a while, I've been quite busy with schoolwork, and I can't even explain how stressed I have been lately, but I believe everything will be fine in the end
