Visiting the Buque Escuela Simón Bolívar [esp/eng]

Hola amigos de esta comunidad de Hive Margarita, espero tengan un buen inicio de semana, como algunos sabrán hace poco les conté sobre mi trayecto para visitar el buque escuela Simón Bolívar, pues en este post les vengo a contar qué tal fue visitar el buque escuela Simón Bolívar este año, que vino por las festividades de nuestra patrona del oriente venezolano.

Hello friends of this Hive Margarita community, I hope you have a good start of the week, as some of you may know I recently told you about my journey to visit the Simón Bolívar training ship, well in this post I come to tell you how it was to visit the Simón Bolívar training ship this year, which came for the festivities of our patron saint of the Venezuelan east.

Como les dije en el anterior post Esta visita no estuvo planeada por lo que para nada nos esperamos la larga fila que teníamos que hacer para poder subirnos al barco y ver el tour, no es la primera vez que visitamos el barco, ya que habíamos tenido ya la oportunidad en el 2022, pero yo recuerdo que en ese año no hicimos una fila tan larga como esta, de verdad que era bastante larga y hacerla fue algo cansado, ya que el sol estaba demasiado fuerte y de por sí venía algo cansada de todo lo que habíamos caminado para llegar al buque, Así que nos fuimos en busca de algo que tomar y conseguimos un puesto de raspado el cual compramos uno de colita para refrescarnos mientras íbamos avanzando poco a poco en la fila.

As I told you in the previous post this visit was not planned so we did not expect the long line that we had to do to get on the ship and see the tour, it is not the first time we visit the ship, as we had already had the opportunity in 2022, but I remember that in that year we did not make a line as long as this, It was really quite long and it was a bit tiring to do it, since the sun was too strong and I was a bit tired from all that we had walked to get to the ship, so we went in search of something to drink and we got a raspado stand where we bought a cola to refresh ourselves while we were advancing little by little in the line.

Eso sí, antes de hacer la fila aprovechamos de caminar hasta donde el barco para tomarle una foto completa desde lejos. Este barco cuando nos visita abre las puertas hacia las personas para que estas puedan hacer un pequeño recorrido en él y aprender un poco más sobre su historia y su función, después de unas cuantas fotos si ya fuimos a hacer la fila no sé cuánto tiempo estuvimos ahí aproximadamente, pero entre las vistas y las personas alrededor se pasó algo rápido o eso pienso yo.

Of course, before waiting in line we took the opportunity to walk up to the ship to take a complete picture from afar. This ship when it visits us opens its doors to people so they can take a little tour on it and learn a little more about its history and function, after a few photos if we went to stand in line I don't know how long we were there approximately, but between the views and the people around it went by fast or so I think.

Nos subimos al barco y no deja de impresionarme la cantidad de detalles que tiene, nada más entrar ya puedes ver algo de la historia de Simón Bolívar, y un muchacho nos iba dando un pequeño recorrido explicándonos algunas de las cosas que podemos observar Y si alguien del grupo tenía alguna pregunta con gusto la respondía, se notaba algo cansado, supongo que porque llevaba haciendo el mismo recorrido una y otra vez, sumando el sol de nuestra isla, se entiende. También me ha llamado mucho la atención lo empinadas que son las escaleras, por lo que hay que tener mucho cuidado mientras se recorre el barco y luego aprovechamos de tomar un montón de fotos tanto al barco como a las vistas y yo también pedí que me tomaran algunas. Si bien podías ir con el guía durante todo el recorrido, pero mi familia y yo nos separamos para poder disfrutar la vista unos cuantos minutos y ya luego nos bajamos del barco.

We got on the boat and it does not cease to impress me the amount of details it has, as soon as you enter you can already see some of the history of Simon Bolivar, and a boy was giving us a little tour explaining some of the things we can see and if anyone in the group had any questions he was happy to answer it, he was a little tired, I guess because he had been doing the same tour over and over again, adding the sun of our island, it is understood. I was also very struck by how steep the stairs are, so you have to be very careful while going through the boat and then we took the opportunity to take a lot of pictures of both the boat and the views and I also asked to take some. You could go with the guide during the whole tour, but my family and I separated to enjoy the view for a few minutes and then we got off the boat.

Definitivamente es más el tiempo que pasamos de trayecto y haciendo la fila que lo que estuvimos en el barco, pero realmente que este barco nos visite durante las festividades de la Virgen es algo muy bonito y que mejor que ir a pasar un rato diferente subiendo a un barco así, y aprender un poco más sobre el, espero tener la oportunidad de volver a visitarlo en cualquier momento que nos vuelva a visitar aquí en la isla de Margarita. It is definitely more the time we spent on the way and waiting in line than what we spent on the boat, but really this boat visiting us during the festivities of the Virgin is something very nice and what better than going to spend a different time getting on a boat like this, and learn a little more about it, I hope to have the opportunity to visit it again any time it visits us again here on the island of Margarita.
