Visiting the Basilica menor de Nuestra Señora del Valle [eng/esp]

Hello everyone today. I want to share with you these images and this moment I had a few days ago where I visited the minor basilica of Our Lady of the Valley, a very beautiful place and certainly very symbolic for our island of Margarita.

I tell you that I visited it because I made the tour of the seven temples of Holy Week in which, as we can see, one of the seven temples was the church of the Virgin of the Valley. At first this church was not on the tour and we were not going to visit it, but for different circumstances we could not go to another, so it was decided to go to this church.

Hola a todos el día de hoy. Les quiero compartir estas imágenes y este momento que tuve hace algunos días en donde visité la basílica menor de Nuestra Señora del Valle, un lugar muy hermoso y sin duda muy simbólico para nuestra isla de Margarita.

Les cuento que la visité debido a que hice el recorrido de los siete templos de Semana Santa en el cual, como podemos ver, uno de los siete templos fue la iglesia de la Virgen del Valle. Al principio esta iglesia no estaba en el recorrido y no la íbamos a visitar, pero por diferentes circunstancias no pudimos ir a otra, por lo que se decidió ir a esta iglesia.

From an architectural point of view, I think it is one of the most beautiful churches on the island. Its colors and its architecture both inside and outside seem wonderful to me, I like to stay observing the whole place and noticing its details.

We spent about 20 minutes in the church, where we saw the virgin of the valley and the altar placed at that time because it was Holy Thursday, also I went a little away from the front to take full pictures of what is the main entrance, one of my favorite parts of the church.

Desde un punto de vista arquitectónico, me parece una de las iglesias más bonitas de La Isla. Sus colores y su arquitectura tanto por fuera como por dentro me parecen maravillosos, me agrada quedarme observando todo el lugar y fijándome en sus detalles.

Estuvimos alrededor de unos 20 minutos en la iglesia, donde vimos a la virgen del valle y el altar colocado en ese momento por ser Jueves Santo, además me alejé un poco de la parte del frente para poder tomar fotos completas de lo que viene siendo la entrada principal, una de mis partes favoritas de la iglesia.

Then we met with the group we were in, since after each church we met to do a little prayer and talk a little about the church we were visiting. In this case we talked a little about the Virgin as such and her great importance for the island.

I don't go to this church very often, but I do go at least once a year. This time it was certainly an experience, as I didn't remember seeing it at night and not so full.

Luego nos reunimos con el grupo en el que estábamos, ya que después de cada iglesia nos reuníamos a hacer una pequeña oración y hablar un poco sobre la iglesia que estábamos visitando. En este caso se nos habló un poco de la Virgen como tal y su gran importancia para la isla.

No soy de ir muy seguido a esta iglesia, pero sí voy al menos una vez al año. Esta vez sin duda fue una experiencia, ya que no recordaba haberla visto de noche y no tan llena.
