Making a cover for the school [eng/esp]

Hello friends of this community, I hope you are having a good start of the week. Today I want to show you this cover I made for the stable group subject, since I am starting a new trimester. I wanted to separate the second quarter from the third quarter and make a cover.

At first I wanted to do something simple, so I just looked for some markers in shades of blue and some pen or black marker. But then I went looking for Inspiration on the internet and remembered when I used to make these collages full of textured papers or stationery I had on hand and said "why not?" So I started looking for everything I could use and just let the ideas flow and come to me as I was making the cover.

Hola amigos de esta comunidad, Espero que estén teniendo un buen inicio de semana. Hoy les quiero mostrar esta portada que hice para la materia de grupo estable, ya que estoy empezando un nuevo trimestre. Quería separar el segundo del tercer trimestre y hacer una portada.

En principio quería hacer algo sencillo, por lo que solo busqué algunos marcadores de tonos azules y algún lapicero o marcador negro. Pero luego fui buscando Inspiración en internet y me acordé de cuando hacía estos collages lleno de papeles texturas o papelería que tuviera a la mano y dije "¿por qué no?" Así que empecé a buscar todo lo que podría utilizar y simplemente dejé fluir y que se me ocurrieran las ideas conforme iba haciendo la portada.

I started by putting a white sheet partly because I wanted to reinforce the notebook sheet, since it is quite thin and can easily break and also because behind the cover I had a class written in pencil, so I put a white sheet.

Otherwise, I didn't follow a pattern or a general idea, I just placed papers in the corners, decorative ribbons on the sides and I decided to make the title on another white sheet, since I didn't want it to be covered or too close to a corner. So I made it on another white sheet, decorated it, cut it out and glued it on the cover.

Empecé poniendo una hoja blanca en parte porque quería reforzar la hoja de la libreta, ya que es bastante delgada y se puede romper fácilmente y también porque atrás de la portada tenía una clase escrita en lapicero, por ende se traspasaba un poquito así que le coloqué una hoja blanca.

Ya de resto, no seguí un patrón o una idea general, solo fui colocando papeles en las esquinas, cintas decorativas por los lados y decidí hacer el título en otra hoja blanca, ya que no quería que quedara tapado o muy a una esquina. Así que lo hice en otra hoja blanca, lo decoré, lo recorté y lo pegué en la portada.

For this quarter I didn't decide to do all the covers, since I'm finishing. The truth is that I find it a bit tedious and I prefer to use that time for other things, since as you know, this year I'm leaving school and that's where I'm the busiest. So I decided not to do all the covers.

In the end, the cover was like a collage, in my opinion very nice and in blue tones because they were the colors I wanted to use this time.

Para este trimestre no decidí hacer todas las portadas, ya que estoy terminando. La verdad se me hace algo tedioso y que prefiero usar ese tiempo para otras cosas, ya que como saben, este año salgo del colegio y es donde más ocupada estoy. Así que decidí no hacer todas las portadas.

Al final, la portada quedó tipo un collage, a mi parecer muy bonito y en tonos azules porque fueron los colores que quería usar esta vez.
