ugly mushrooms that have been soaked

Hello friends

How are you?

This morning I found a mushroom that had been submerged in water. It's been raining heavily in my area for the past few days, causing flooding in several areas. I'm not surprised by this, as the area is prone to flooding due to its proximity to a tributary, making it a high risk of flooding. This rainy season makes it easy to find mushrooms, especially since our area is tropical, so finding mushrooms is commonplace.

Forgive me for being so busy that I only managed to find one mushroom. I found this mushroom behind my house, near the water drainage embankment. I initially looked in several places for mushrooms, but I couldn't find any. So, I went behind my house and found a mushroom that had been submerged in water overnight. This is the mushroom I found today.

This mushroom is called a parasol mushroom, that's what it's called in my area. It often grows in damp places and grows on the ground. The umbrella is brown in color, while the stem is white. This mushroom has a soft texture and breaks easily.

Even though it had fallen due to standing water, this mushroom was still alive, perhaps because it hadn't broken. This mushroom is very susceptible to stem breakage, and if that happens, it will die immediately. Generally, this mushroom has a lifespan of about 7 days. I'm not sure about this mushroom species or whether it's edible, but from its appearance, it seems inedible.

This mushroom is basically unattractive; its appearance is ordinary, so many hunters miss it. I don't think there's anything unique or beautiful about this mushroom. However, I took the liberty of featuring it in this post, although I must admit that this is my worst mushroom find. I was hoping to find something more interesting and beautiful. Maybe I just wasn't lucky today. I apologize for this.
