HIVE ARTE- Un poco de arte- Las chicas de Rivarola[A little art The girls of Rivarola]

Algo que amo de mi universidad es que el arte está en todos lados, y así es como me pude encontrar con la obra de Luciana Rivarola y descubrir un poco de ella a través de su arte. Es una graduada de mi universidad en el campo de diseño gráfico que también tuvo una experiencia con el rubro textil y la pintura. Esta exposición se llama lado B, que retrata en una serie de cuadros a mujeres de la tercera edad, todas mayores, pero con un toque muy atractivo.

Something I love about my university is that art is everywhere, and that is how I was able to encounter the work of Luciana Rivarola and discover a little of her through her art. She is a graduate of my university in the field of graphic design who also had experience with textiles and painting. This exhibition is called side B, which portrays elderly women in a series of paintings, all older, but with a very attractive touch.

Todos los cuadros presentan colores muy vivos, lo que hace que los cuadros realmente te llamen a mirarlos de forma directa, yo pase de casualidad y como tenía un rato entre, lo divertido siempre es que la sala está vacía entonces simplemente puedo pararme y ver los cuadros cuanto quiera.

All the paintings have very bright colors, which makes the paintings really call you to look at them directly, I passed by by chance and since I had some time between, the fun thing is always that the room is empty so I can simply stop and see the paintings as much as you want.

Cada cuadro refleja a una mujer diferente pero la actitud de todas ellas es muy joven, y divertida, las vemos muy maquilladas y con expresiones muy felices, hasta dan ganas de ser una de ellas jajaja realmente me pareció una forma hermosa de retratar otra cara de la vejez, ya que pasa mucho con las mujeres que cuando el paso del tiempo nos aleja de la hegemonía de la belleza el valor se pierde y la invisibilidad pasa a ser la cara que toca llevar.

Each painting reflects a different woman but the attitude of all of them is very young and fun, we see them with lots of makeup and very happy expressions, it even makes you want to be one of them hahaha I really thought it was a beautiful way to portray another side of old age, since it happens a lot with women that when the passage of time distances us from the hegemony of beauty, the value is lost and invisibility becomes the face we have to wear.

No encontré mucho de esta artista, pero esa es mi interpretación de la idea que quiso reflejar, mujeres que son divertidas, hermosas y coquetas, me gusta mucho que todos los contrastes de color den como resultado algo tan hermoso, me dan ganas de aprender a pintar y dibujar jajaja pero creo que debería mejorar las habilidades que ya tengo antes de incluir nuevas.

I didn't find much about this artist, but that is my interpretation of the idea she wanted to reflect, women who are fun, beautiful and flirtatious, I really like that all the color contrasts result in something so beautiful, it makes me want to learn how to painting and drawing hahaha but I think I should improve the skills I already have before including new ones.

Algunos de los cuadros eran de tipo esquinero pero el resto eran todos lienzos muy grandes, creo que serían muy buenos para decorar una habitación, realmente tendría uno en mi casa en el futuro. Uno de los cuadros tenía una lampara y un tubo de luz, como esa semana fui a la facultad varias veces me anime a tocar el interruptor la segunda vez jajaja y fue divertido.

Some of the paintings were corner type but the rest were all very large canvases, I think they would be very good to decorate a room, I would actually have one in my house in the future. One of the paintings had a lamp and a light tube, since I went to school several times that week I was encouraged to touch the switch the second time hahaha and it was fun.

Toda la exposición en la sala tenía unos 21 cuadros y realmente todos son hermosos, también con una gran técnica de pintura, hasta me acerque a uno para ver la pincelada jajaja, creo que siempre se puede aprender un poco de mirarlos.

The entire exhibition in the room had about 21 paintings and they are all really beautiful, also with a great painting technique, I even got close to one to see the brushstroke hahaha, I think you can always learn a little from looking at them.

Toda esta exposición me dio muchas ganas de volver a dibujar o de dedicarme al arte, es algo que siempre ronda en mi cabeza jajaja pero creo que no es el momento aun para todo esto, pero quien sabe que va a deparar el futuro, de algo estoy segura es que en la vejez me gustaría verme como una de las chicas de Rivarola. This whole exhibition made me really want to draw again or dedicate myself to art, it's something that's always on my mind hahaha but I think it's not the time yet for all this, but who knows what the future is going to bring, something I am sure that in old age I would like to see myself as one of the Rivarola girls.
