Los gatitos son muy populares y la merienda en Argentina también, un plan muy de gente grande o sea yo jajaja es ir a merendar, hace un tiempo un amigo quería que vayamos a una experiencia de merienda diferente, en este lugar uno va a merendar y pintar, estos lugares son bastante populares en Argentina últimamente sobre todo en Buenos Aires, así que organizamos nuestro día y fuimos a ello, es necesario organizarse por nuestros horarios y como era mi último sábado 100% libre de tareas decidimos despedir las vacaciones haciendo esta actividad.

Kittens are very popular and snack time in Argentina too, a very adult plan, that's me hahaha, is to go for a snack, a while ago a friend wanted us to go to a different snack experience, in this place you go to have a snack and paint, these places are quite popular in Argentina lately especially in Buenos Aires, so we organized our day and went for it, it is necessary to organize ourselves according to our schedules and since it was my last Saturday 100% free of tasks we decided to say goodbye to the holidays by doing this activity.

El local se encuentra en pleno microcentro, y se llama studio cat caffe, es un poco pequeño que era lo que algunas personas decían pero no estuvo tan mal, aunque si nos daban una mesa apenas más grande no me quejaba jajajaja, el local vende muchas cosas de gatitos también, tiene una especie de tiendita en la parte superior que se puede visitar, aunque creo que no está del todo bien organizado y siento que deberían mudarse a un lugar más amplio porque uno pasa por la cocina para subir al piso de arriba.

The place is located in the heart of the city center, and it's called Studio Cat Caffe, it's a bit small which is what some people said but it wasn't so bad, although if they had given us a slightly bigger table I wouldn't complain hahaha, the place sells a lot of cat stuff too, it has a kind of little shop upstairs that you can visit, although I don't think it's very well organized and I feel like they should move to a bigger place because you have to go through the kitchen to go up to the top floor.

La experiencia cuesta unos 23mil pesos argentinos que son alrededor de 22 dólares, nosotros tomamos la opción de pintar con consumición, porque queríamos pedir cosas del menú, esto nos da 8mil pesos de consumo y si nos pasábamos simplemente pagábamos la diferencia y ya está.

The experience costs about 23,000 Argentine pesos, which is about $22. We chose the option of painting with a drink because we wanted to order things from the menu. This gives us 8,000 pesos worth of drinks, and if we went over, we'd simply pay the difference and that's it.

Cada uno eligió su figura para pintar, mi amiga eligió un gatito que era una maceta y miraba hacia abajo, mi amigo un gato que miraba parado hacia adelante y yo me quede con el gato de la suerte, el maneki neko :3, te dan un mantel super lindo también.

Each one chose their figure to paint, my friend chose a kitten that was a flower pot and looked down, my friend chose a cat that stood up and looked forward, and I chose the lucky cat, the maneki neko :3, they also give you a super cute tablecloth.

Elegis los colores y te dan una paletita de colores para que puedas pintar en la mesa, mientras empezábamos a pintar íbamos esperando la merienda, mis colores fueron amarillo, rojo, blanco y naranja, que fue lo que use para darle a mi gato un tono medio amarillo pero no quería que fuera full amarillo así que cree un tono más ocre.

You choose the colors and they give you a color palette so you can paint on the table, while we started painting we were waiting for the snack, my colors were yellow, red, white and orange, which was what I used to give my cat a medium yellow tone but I didn't want it to be full yellow so I created a more ochre tone.

Fuimos pintando nuestras esculturas de gatos hasta que llego la merienda, los cafés tenían gatitos dibujados, la torta que pedimos tenía orejitas de gatos, mi scon de queso tenía orejitas ( que el pobre no llego a la foto pero había salido de mi casa temprano y sin almuerzo así que tenía un poco de hambre jajaja) todo super lindo.

We were painting our cat sculptures until the snack arrived, the coffees had kittens drawn on them, the cake we ordered had cat ears, my cheese scone had ears (the poor thing didn't make it into the photo but I had left my house early and without lunch so I was a little hungry hahaha) everything was super cute.

Estuvimos un buen rato, algo así como dos horas y media, que está bien porque teníamos mucho que pintar, yo decidí que mi gatito fuera simple, además los pinceles que teníamos eran muy básicos así que hice lo que pude jajaja, mi amigo decidió hacer un gato similar a una de sus gatas así que fue el que más tardo en pintar.

We were there for a while, something like two and a half hours, which was good because we had a lot to paint. I decided to make my kitten simple, plus the brushes we had were very basic so I did what I could hahaha. My friend decided to make a cat similar to one of his cats so it was the one that took the longest to paint.

Al final nuestros gatitos fueron muy lindos, con sus colores particulares y sus caritas felices, fue muy divertido de hacer, no es algo muy económico de hacer pero para ser algo super ocasional vale la pena, en Buenos Aires hay varios de este estilo, algunos son clases de dibujos, de hacer collage y cosas de manualidades junto con la merienda y es divertido así que hay muchas opciones para elegir, me gustó mucho hacer esto.

In the end our kittens were very cute, with their particular colors and their happy faces, it was very fun to do, it is not something very cheap to do but for something super occasional it is worth it, in Buenos Aires there are several of this style, some are drawing classes, collage making and crafts along with the snack and it is fun so there are many options to choose from, I really liked doing this.

Igual cuando llegue a casa le di unos detalles a mi gatito jajaja y también una buena capa de laca para protegerlo, el mío es un lapicero que ahora se encuentra en mi escritorio y mi lapicero actual de calavera me ira a acompañar a la oficina en mi nuevo trabajo, pero eso es otra historia.

Maybe when I get home I'll give my kitty some little things, haha, and also a good coat of hairspray to protect him. Mine is a pencil holder that now sits on my desk, and my current skull pencil holder will be going to the office with me at my new job, but that's another story.
