DAILY BLOG-Experiencias de emprender- Mi primera feria[Entrepreneurial experiences - My first fair]

Con un amigo tenemos un pequeño emprendimiento que queremos sacar a flote, creamos nuestros diseños y una página en instagram, buscamos proveedores e hicimos el stock pero nos costaba hacer ventas, así que nuestro siguiente paso fue buscar ferias para vender de forma física en momentos puntuales, así que eso empezamos a hacer, entre buscar ferias y hacer stock a veces se hace un poco agotador, pero conseguimos una pequeña feria, que en realidad era más un evento con varias cosas, pero bastante pequeño, y si bien no vendimos nada jajaja aprendimos cosas, íbamos con la idea de que eso podría suceder.

A friend or friend of mine has a small business that we want to get off the ground. We created our designs and an Instagram page, we looked for suppliers and made stock, but we had a hard time making sales, so our next step was to look for fairs to sell physically at specific times, so that's what we started doing. Between looking for fairs and making stock, sometimes it gets a bit exhausting, but we got a small fair, which was actually more of an event with several things, but quite small, and although we didn't sell anything hahaha, we learned things. We went with the idea that it could happen.

Lo que aprendimos primero es que es muy necesario llevar un mantel, así que para la próxima vez que vayamos llevaremos mantel con nuestro logo estampado, esa es una de las cosas de las que me voy a encargar de hacer, ya que solo necesito tela y hacer el sello con nuestro nombre para estampar de forma casera, es algo que ya hice y tengo experiencia para que no salga mal.

What we learned first is that it is very necessary to bring a tablecloth, so next time we go we will bring a tablecloth with our logo printed on it, that is one of the things I am going to take care of doing, since I only need fabric and to make the stamp with our name to print at home, it is something I have already done and I have experience so that it does not go wrong.

También creemos en que sería buena idea hacer stickers de nuestros diseños a precios muy baratos, la idea es que sean nuestros diseños con la marca para que sirva de difusión para que más gente llegue a nuestro Instagram, así que eso nos servirá para la próxima feria.
Algo que funcionaria también es tener cartelería para precios para exponer en la mesa, eso ayudaría a que la gente vea el precio que tenemos y no le dé vergüenza preguntar, pero algo bueno que sucedió es que en la feria la gente se acercó a preguntarnos y charlar un poco, pero la venta no se concretó :c.

We also think it would be a good idea to make stickers of our designs at very cheap prices, the idea is that they are our designs with the brand so that it serves as a means of diffusion so that more people reach our Instagram, so that will be useful for the next fair. Something that would also work is to have price signs to display on the table, that would help people see the price we have and not be embarrassed to ask, but something good that happened is that at the fair people came up to us to ask us questions and chat a bit, but the sale did not happen :c.

Un cartel llamativo con un qr que vaya a nuestro instagram también ayudaría bastante a que la gente pueda entrar de forma simple al perfil para seguirnos, algunos chicos nos preguntaron ,pero nos dimos cuenta que al buscarnos por nombre no sale el primer resultado, también es que deberíamos usar más y de forma eficiente instagram jajaja, es algo que yo estoy intentando aprender, pero hacer mucho contenido es algo complicado, como dividimos el trabajo y la edición a veces los tiempos se nos complican un poco.

An eye-catching sign with a QR code that goes to our Instagram would also help a lot so that people can easily enter the profile to follow us, some kids asked us, but we realized that when searching for us by name the first result doesn't come up, it's also that we should use Instagram more and more efficiently hahaha, it's something that I'm trying to learn, but making a lot of content is somewhat complicated, since we divide the work and editing sometimes the times get a little complicated for us.

Creo que es importante ver un poco más el público antes de ir a un evento, pero este fue sin cargo para ir, pero nos llevamos bastante experiencia de todo esto, y lo que aprendimos en esta ocasión lo vamos a aplicar en la próxima feria que tenemos este mes, ya que el 14 de septiembre vamos a ir a otro lugar con nuestro emprendimiento y otro emprendimiento amigo, por suerte ya estoy bastante acostumbrada a tratar a diario con mucha gente por mi trabajo y otros que tuve, pero mi amigo está aprendiendo un poco más de todo esto.

I think it's important to see the public a little more before going to an event, but this one was free to go to, but we took away a lot of experience from all this, and what we learned on this occasion we are going to apply in the next fair we have this month, since on September 14 we are going to go to another place with our business and another friend's business, luckily I am already quite used to dealing with a lot of people on a daily basis due to my job and others I have had, but my friend is learning a little more about all this.

Creo que con un poco más de trabajo, carteles más llamativos que guíen a la gente a nuestro perfil de instagram podríamos lograr seguidores y posiblemente algunos compradores, si bien esto es un trabajo bastante secundario por ahora, la meta a largo plazo es que se convierta en un ingreso constante que nos de algo más de libertad para estudiar sin tantos problemas, pero para llegar a eso vamos a tener que trabajar más y sobre todo ir aprendiendo cosas de cada experiencia, no creí que esto fuera fácil pero me falta mucho por aprender.

I think that with a little more work, more eye-catching signs that guide people to our Instagram profile, we could gain followers and possibly some buyers. Although this is a fairly secondary job for now, the long-term goal is for it to become a steady income that gives us more freedom to study without so many problems. But to get there, we're going to have to work harder and, above all, learn things from each experience. I didn't think this would be easy, but I still have a lot to learn.
