A Day at the Cattle Market 🌼Where Tradition Meets Devotion🌼 Observations and Reflections
Eid days are approaching and everyone wants to buy a good animal for the sacrifice of Eid-ul-Adha. So I went to the livestock market with my friends. There I saw many beautiful animals. Since I had to buy a goat and a sheep for Eid-ul-Adha, when I entered the market, I saw many beautiful sheep and goats, but their prices were sky-high. I will also enchant you with the pictures of the goat market and inform you about all the conditions of the goat market because during these ten days, every Muslim brother will want to buy a sacrificial animal for Eid-ul-Adha as soon as possible. And every buyer also wants to buy animals at cheap prices because inflation has become very high and people's sources of income are running out. If the income is very low, then this duty of sacrifice is also to be performed. But sacrifice is not obligatory on everyone. Only the person who can afford it should buy a sacrificial animal and sacrifice it. Whether he is poor or middle-class, he should sacrifice it. It is also permissible for a poor person or one who does not have money or who cannot afford to buy an animal not to sacrifice.
The cattle market where I went to buy sheep and goats is held in the Dawood Khel area and this market is a local market, but now since it is the Eid of Sacrifice, people from far away come here to sell their animals during the Eid days. There are animals of every breed and quality here. Some people buy beautiful animals and some people buy big animals. Some people buy sheep or male sheep. Similarly, they buy goats. When they buy goats, everyone comes to this fair cattle market from far away to buy the animal of their choice. Since animals come in large numbers and come from different areas, the prices here are also quite low. But during the Eid days, when animals have to be bought for sacrifice, the prices of animals touch the sky and the animals that were being sold for one lakh rupees before the Eid days reach two lakhs on Eid Qurban. In this way, the prices of animals double to triple. Therefore, whatever When a customer comes to buy an animal for sacrifice, he spends one to two hours wandering around the cattle market and checking the prices. In this way, he buys the animal at a reasonable price. However, there are many traders or brokers here who buy animals for customers on commission. In this way, this process continues all day long in the cattle market. When I reached the cattle market, I will tell you the situation I saw in today's article.
As soon as my friend and I reached the cattle market, we first went to the area where sheep and goats were being sold. The sheep and goats were of different weights and belonged to different breeds. The most famous breed of sheep is the Kajala breed. Kajala breed sheep are very popular because they have a lot of weight, height and width. However, a Kajala breed sheep weighing about 30 kg was priced at one lakh rupees, which was very expensive. Similarly, a 15 to 20 kg sheep or goat was priced from 50,000 to 60,000 rupees. In addition, the goats, which were female goats weighing 12 to 15 kg, were priced at 40 to 50,000 rupees. Thus, this cattle market was very expensive and the prices of the animals were very high. We saw about 40 to 50 animals, which were also light in weight, but the owner was asking a very high price. I liked one goat, but mine and the seller's The deal could not be done because I wanted to give him 60 thousand rupees for the goat, but his demand was 80 thousand rupees. I put 60 thousand rupees according to its weight, but the owner of the goat was demanding a lot more money. Thus, we spent a lot of time in the market and tried to buy one or two animals, but we could not buy even one animal. The reason for this is that the prices were very high.
When we were looking for animals in the cattle market, I met one of my students. My student's name is Irfan, who was my student. Or my student saw me. He called me from a distance and I went to meet him. I stood with him and took pictures. My student had come to the cattle market to sell his animals. When I asked him about the prices, he told me that the prices are very high because the feed and grass for the animals have become very expensive. The second thing about inflation is that the value of the Pakistani rupee is decreasing day by day, due to which the prices are very high and the source of income of the people is very limited. When I asked him what is the price of the animal that you have come to the market to sell, he told me that this animal is worth 80 thousand rupees, but last year he had sold a similar animal for 50 thousand rupees and the depreciation of the Pakistani rupee within a year is the reason why the prices of cattle are very high today.
Millions of animals are sacrificed on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and every Muslim sacrifices animals according to their means. Animal sacrifice is done keeping in mind the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Whenever we buy an animal for sacrifice, we should always buy a beautiful, healthy and good animal because if we buy a weak, sick animal and sacrifice it, then that sacrifice is not permissible. The sacrifice is always made of a healthy, strong, beautiful animal and it is not permissible to sacrifice an animal that is disabled, injured, sick or has any kind of disability for sacrifice. A healthy animal should always be sacrificed for sacrifice. Therefore, many people are fraudsters, some of them bring animals with benefits. Many people commit many frauds in the cattle market and when people come to know about their fraud, then people inform people on social media. Always check the animal thoroughly whenever you go to the cattle market. Look carefully to see if the animal's teeth are broken anywhere. Is the animal's leg healthy? Is the animal physically healthy? And if the animal is in every way healthy? If it is healthy, then buy the animal. That is why I am writing this here because many fraudulent people bring animals to the market. Some people even bring stolen animals to sell. But all this is possible only when we check the animal thoroughly and examine it before buying it. Whenever we buy an animal from a person in the cattle market, we must take his contact number and identity card so that in case of any problem later, information about that person can be given to the concerned persons. In this way, we can save ourselves and also save the earnings of our halal hard work. These were some written instructions that I thought of writing here.
Whenever we go to the livestock market to buy animals on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, many people are seen complaining that the animal they bought last week was stolen, or that the animal was disabled, or that the animal was sick. Some people inject the animal to increase its weight and then feed it with certain things that cause its stomach to swell and thus increase its weight. Sometimes they also give it a lot of water and some chemicals are added to the water that cause the animal to gain weight. Sometimes sick animals are given some water or injection that makes them look healthy temporarily, but when the buyer takes them home, the animal starts getting sick after a few hours. Thus, whenever you go to buy an animal, always take a person with you who can identify the animal well and check its health and only then buy the animal because there are fraudsters everywhere in every field who rob people by making them suffer. In this way, people get worried later, so we should inform the cattle market administration whenever we go to the cattle market and if we see any kind of such fraud, we should inform the cattle market administration. Sometimes it happens that some people commit fraud in the form of a group. If in any way any group is identified that is involved in fraud or is deceiving people, then it becomes our human duty to inform the cattle market administration. So this writing of mine is also a kind of instruction for all of you so that whenever you go to the cattle market, you must take care of these things. I am not saying that this happens in every market, but similar incidents have been seen in some places and we should be prepared for these things in every way so that whenever we go to the cattle market, we should shop safely in every way.
I have written all these things as a corrective. Now I will share with you some things that when we were buying goats in the cattle market, what incidents did we see? We observed one thing that every customer was worried about how to buy a cheap animal because the prices of every animal were very high everywhere. But when the market atmosphere heated up and a large number of animals reached the market, we also observed that the prices of animals in the market started to decrease a bit. Thus, a difference of five to ten percent in prices arose because when the sellers saw that the animals had reached the market in large numbers, they also reduced their prices. Thus, when animals reach the market in large numbers, then the prices of the animals also decrease because everyone wants to sell their animals and if they ask for a very high price for their animals, then the animals will not be able to be sold. Thus, we saw this beautiful scene in the cattle market, which you can also see in the pictures.
You can see in the pictures how beautiful sheep and goats people have come to the cattle market to sell. Every animal looks beautiful, every animal looks healthy too. But you can see in the pictures that everyone here is in a hurry, in a hurry to buy that animal and go home quickly. And another thing that I want to write here is that when there were a lot of animals in the market, the customers also arrived in large numbers. Thus, there was a lot of crowd and rush in the market and thus there was no space to walk in the market. We were walking bumping into each other because there was no space to step in the market. Thus, the atmosphere of the market was becoming very beautiful and customers were engaged in buying from each other everywhere. A beautiful discussion was going on between the seller and the buyer. Somewhere a deal was being finalized, while somewhere there was a discussion going on to reduce the price. We returned home from the market with these beautiful scenes. I will tell you about the situation of all these cattle markets in the next 10 days. I will also keep writing about it wherever I go. I hope you will like my writings about livestock markets.
Now I will show you some pictures that I have taken of the sheep, goats, customers and sellers. By looking at these pictures, you will get an idea of how the entire market looked. I have taken these pictures with my mobile phone. I hope you will like them.
Eid al-Adha or Eid al-Adha, which we also call the big Eid, is a very beautiful Eid in which we sacrifice in the way of Allah and give charity in the way of Allah. Sacrifice is a pure act whose sole purpose is to gain the pleasure of Allah Almighty. When this sacrifice is made, the meat of the sacrificial animal is kept for the poor, the needy, the relatives, friends, and ourselves. In this way, all those who sacrifice distribute the meat of the sacrificial animal among the poor, the needy, and the needy. In this way, the sacrificial meat is divided into three parts: one part is for friends, friends, and relatives, one part is for the poor, the needy, and the needy, and the third part is for the sacrificer. In this way, this sacrifice also teaches us that we have to live with love and affection for each other, respect each other, and that is why the meat of the sacrifice is distributed among all people, in which a share is also kept for friends, a share is also kept for the poor, and Their share is also kept. On the first day of the sacrifice, everyone is busy with the sacrifice, cooking the meat, and distributing it. Similarly, when it is noon, when people are finished with the sacrifice, different types of dishes are made from the sacrificed meat and then it is fed to friends. On the second and third days of Eid, those who could not sacrifice on the first day due to some busyness sacrifice. In this way, this sacrifice continues for three days and all Muslims celebrate these three days with love, affection, and respect for each other. I pray that Allah Almighty blesses the sustenance of every Muslim and that Allah Almighty grants every Muslim a long life, gives every human being happiness, and that Allah Almighty grants every human being lawful sustenance. I hope you must have liked my writing today. I will inform you more about the conditions of the cattle market in my next writing. Thank you very much to all of you.

I am a Catholic and I respect other people's religion, inflation is I think happening around the world now. I am curious about the animal that is sacrificed. HOW you do it? Did you burnt it?
I am a Muslim and Muslims also respect every religion because Allah Almighty has created every person free and Allah Almighty has given everyone the right to study, study and understand the inspired books of Allah and then after that, adopt the religion they want after their own thinking and understanding. So when we sacrifice, the meat of the sacrificial animal is distributed among the people and three parts of the sacrificial meat are made. One part is distributed among the poor, one part is distributed among relatives and friends, and the third part belongs to the person who is sacrificing. We eat the sacrificial meat, different dishes are prepared from it and friends are invited. In addition, if there is a lot of meat, it is distributed among the poor. It is distributed among those who are poor and do not have meat to eat. In this way, this beautiful and pure act of sacrifice continues for three days and then comes to an end. In this way, the sacrificial animals are not burned, but they are slaughtered with respect and honor, and in this way This is a sacrificial act.
