Today morning, my son and I went shopping in the city of Girga. This was in the city of Girga, which is 13 kilometers away from my village, because we live in an agricultural village that does not have shopping centers.
The city of Girga is located about 500 kilometers south of Cairo, and about 33 kilometers south of Sohag
We went shopping in Al-Qaysariyya, which is considered one of the most important and oldest commercial markets. The history of this market extends back to the Ottoman era, and it has many merchants and Al-Qaysariyya. It also has the oldest historical mosques, such as the Chinese Mosque, the Butter Mosque, the Etman Mosque, and many historical monuments
It contains some ancient archaeological monuments
Although we do not go often to see these landmarks, perhaps because we see them a lot or are there, I will try to collect as many pictures and information as possible and share them here
