Este fin de semana se llevó a cabo la feria Expo Argentina acá en Lima, fueron 3 días cargados de muchas actividades, buena música y mucha comida, además muchos emprendedores tuvieron la oportunidad de ofrecer sus productos a todos los presentes.

El lugar de encuentro fue en Campo de Marte, ubicado en el distrito Jesús María, un lugar bastante espacioso y al aire libre, la entrada tenía un costo de 5 soles, precio muy económico.

Yo fui el día sábado 9 de diciembre en la mañana, con mi esposo y mi hermano, lo primero que hicimos fue dar un recorrido por todos los puestos para ver qué podíamos comer, pues salimos de casa sin desayunar con la intención de hacerlo allá.

This weekend was held the Expo Argentina fair here in Lima, it was 3 days full of activities, good music and lots of food, also many entrepreneurs had the opportunity to offer their products to all present.

The meeting place was in Campo de Marte, located in the district of Jesus Maria, a very spacious place and outdoors, the entrance cost 5 soles, a very economical price.

I went there on Saturday morning, December 9, with my husband and my brother. The first thing we did was to visit all the stalls to see what we could eat, since we left home without having breakfast with the intention of eating there.




Habían empanadas argentinas, facturas y medialunas, choripanes, sánguches rellenos de milanesa, cortes de carne, pizzas, vinos, tragos y mucho más.

Yo empecé con unas empanadas de carne y luego con unas medialunas (una especie de croissant) rellenas de dulce de leche o arequipe.

Las empanadas muy ricas, pero sin duda lo que más me gustó probar fueron las medialunas, hace años que quería probarlas, para mi sorpresa, estaban mejores de lo que imaginaba.

There were Argentine empanadas, facturas and croissants, choripanes, sandwiches filled with milanesa, cuts of meat, pizzas, wines, drinks and much more.

I started with some meat empanadas and then some medialunas (a kind of croissant) filled with dulce de leche or arequipe.

The empanadas were very tasty, but without a doubt what I enjoyed the most were the medialunas, I had wanted to try them for years, to my surprise, they were better than I imagined.

Luego aprovechamos para escuchar un poco de música, un tributo al rock argentino, excelentes músicos.

Para compartir en casa me traje un pote de dulce de leche artesanal y unos alfajores, uno bañado en chocolate negro y otro bañado en chocolate blanco, ambos rellenos de dulce de leche, me armé todo un mix para comerlos mientras veo la televisión.

Then we took the opportunity to listen to some music, a tribute to Argentine rock, excellent musicians.

To share at home I brought a pot of homemade dulce de leche and some alfajores, one dipped in dark chocolate and the other in white chocolate, both filled with dulce de leche, I made a whole mix to eat them while watching TV.


Después fui por mi choripan, si o si tenía que comer al menos uno, muy rico por cierto y el chimichurri también, la atención de los chicos del puesto definitivamente un 10/10.
Then I went for my choripan, I had to eat at least one, very tasty by the way and the chimichurri too, the attention of the guys at the stand was definitely a 10/10.

Por supuesto, que no me podía ir sin comprar otro mate, les cuento que nunca he visitado a Argentina, pero tengo un cariño especial por este país y su cultura, además de vez en cuando me gusta tomar yerba mate, sobre todo en las tardes.

De hecho tengo una pequeña colección de mates, unos los tuve que dejar en Venezuela en casa de mis padres y otros los tengo acá.

Quería uno con el interior de acero inoxidable y cambiar la bombilla por una del mismo material, al final me decidí por uno rosado porque es mi color favorito y una bombilla chata (así es el modelo), también compré un pequeño kit de limpieza para la bombilla.

Of course, I could not leave without buying another mate, I tell you that I have never visited Argentina, but I have a special affection for this country and its culture, also from time to time I like to drink yerba mate, especially in the afternoons.

In fact I have a small collection of mates, some I had to leave in Venezuela at my parents' house and others I have here.

I wanted one with a stainless steel interior and to change the bombilla for one of the same material, in the end I decided for a pink one because it is my favorite color and a flat bombilla (this is the model), I also bought a small cleaning kit for the bombilla.


Y para finalizar, como estaba haciendo mucho sol, un solazo, como decimos en Venezuela, fuimos por unos helados, el mío de dulce de leche granizado con trozos de chocolate, una cosa de locos el sabor.

El recipiente del helado era como para dos personas, aunque para alguien que sea muy fanática de lo dulce es el tamaño ideal, yo como había comido otras cosas antes, lo compartí un poco con mi esposo.

Sin duda, fue un lindo evento, sencillo y muy divertido a la vez, el ambiente y la vibra de la gente le dieron un toque especial, esperando desde ya el próximo para volver a ir.

And to finish, as it was very sunny, a sunny sun, as we say in Venezuela, we went for some ice cream, mine was dulce de leche granizado with chocolate chips, a crazy flavor.

The ice cream container was for two people, although for someone who has a sweet tooth it is the ideal size, as I had eaten other things before, I shared it a little with my husband.

Undoubtedly, it was a nice event, simple and fun at the same time, the atmosphere and the vibe of the people gave it a special touch, waiting for the next one to go again.
