Walking Through the Square
One of the most interesting places in my city is, without a doubt, Plaza Bolívar. This is a somewhat atypical space within this region, since squares named in honor of the liberator are usually historic places, located in front of churches or cathedrals and surrounded by all the structures of municipal or regional power. But my municipality dates from a much more recent era, so here we find much more modern features and a quite different urban layout, but one that is also very interesting.

Caminando Por La Plaza

The square is large, and people often refer to it as a park, which I think is actually correct, as it is a paved space surrounded by trees on all sides, dominated by grass, and with a spatial layout that invites us to sit down and spend some time in the company of the constant breeze, the freshness of nature, and the spaciousness of the place.

Here we can sit and spend quite a bit of time chatting with anyone, enjoying the surroundings or, as in my case, resting after a long walk. I really like the combination of the metal structures, the floors, and the abstract shapes of the trees, as everything seems to dance to the same rhythm. Here we feel a sense of permanent fluidity and, despite this, we also achieve a great deal of harmony.

Today I took advantage of the opportunity to take some pictures while I was resting a bit, and before leaving, I walked around the entire perimeter of the square, enjoying the atmosphere of this area of the city, since we are just a few blocks from the municipal market, one block from the most commercial avenue, and at the same time in the middle of busy streets and sidewalks, where we will always meet someone we know and where, at the same time, we will be able to purchase all the products, goods, or services we need at that moment.
