Plants are incredible and their perfection has always caught my attention, that's why while I was making a photographic series on leaves, I had the idea of ​​making a similar one but totally in black and white, because the sublime of these two tones makes that the perfection of nature be highlighted even more, whose true beauty lies in the details that each species hides.

Plantas en Blanco y Negro

Las plantas son increíbles y su perfección siempre me ha llamado mucho la atención, por eso mientras estaba elaborando una serie fotográfica sobre hojas, se me ocurrió la idea de elaborar una similar pero totalmente en blanco y negro, pues lo sublime de estos dos tonos hace que se resalte aun más la perfección de la naturaleza, cuya verdadera belleza radica en los detalles que esconde cada especie.

For this work, I used as a central objective all the plants that my mother has in her house, which she has been cultivating for a long time and therefore dedicates all her love to them, in the graphs we can see palms, soursop, elderberry, coriander, among others. Species that serve to decorate the house and at the same time for family consumption.

Para este trabajo use como objetivo central a todas las plantas que mi mama tiene en su casa, las cuales lleva mucho tiempo cultivando y por lo tanto les dedica todo su cariño, en las graficas podemos observar palmas, guanábana, sauco, cilantro, entre otras especies que sirven para ornamentar la casa y al mismo tiempo para consumo familiar.

Nature wearing its best clothes usually gives us an immense amount of colors, but on this occasion I have suppressed those vivid tones to present you with an incredibly interesting amount of black and white tones, which does not seek to silence such beauty, but on the contrary, It makes each nuance and each tone stand out, allowing our gaze to enter a world without borders where our marginalization begins to fly and is capable of painting in our mind each trace of a flower or each groove of a trunk or each line of a thin sheet.

La naturaleza haciendo uso de sus mejores galas suele regalarnos una cantidad inmensa de colores, pero en esta ocasión he suprimido esos vivos tonos para presentarles una cantidad increíblemente interesantes de tonos en blancos y negros, lo cual no busca silenciar tal belleza, sino al contrario, hace que se resalte cada matiz y cada tono, permitiendo que nuestra mirada se adentre en un mundo sin fronteras en donde nuestra marginación comienza a volar y es capaz de pintar en nuestra mente cada trazo de una flor o cada ranura de un troco o cada línea de una fina hoja.

I like the application of the black and white technique very much, because the results obtained are usually very gratifying, thanks to the fact that they are images with much more content, feelings and manages to transmit many stories just by looking at them, it is for this reason that for a time For now, I have begun to use these two tones in my images and I considered that little by little I will polish my technique, therefore, any comment or suggestion in this regard will be well received.

La aplicación de la técnica del blanco y negro me gusta mucho, pues los resultados obtenidos suelen ser muy gratificantes, gracias a que son imágenes con mucho mas contenido, sentimientos y logra transmitir muchas historias con solo mirarlas, es por esta razón que de un tiempo para acá he comenzado a hacer uso de estos dos tonos dentro de mis imágenes y consideró que poco a poco iré puliendo mi técnica, por lo tanto, cualquier comentario o sugerencia al respecto será bien recibida.
