Going for a Walk
Today was a cloudy afternoon, so I took the opportunity to go out for another walk, but this time I would be in the pleasant company of my four-legged friend, whom I had not been able to take out for a walk during the past week for various reasons. As a result, she had become more restless than usual and was showing clear signs of anxiety. To avoid this situation, I took advantage of the good weather and set out to walk around my neighborhood. This way, I could take a mental break, get some exercise, and give my pet that much-needed outing.
Dando un Paseo Hoy la tarde estaba nublada y aproveché la oportunidad para salir de nuevo a dar una vuelta, pero en esta ocasión estaría con la grata compañía de mi niña de cuatro patas, la cual por diversas razones no la había podido sacar a pasear durante la semana pasada, por lo cual su comportamiento comenzó a volverse más inquieto de lo normal y con indudables toques de ansiedad. Para evitar esta situación, aprovecha de las buenas condiciones y me dispuse a caminar por los alrededores de mi comunidad. Así podría tomarme un respiro mental, dar algunos pasos y brindarle esa salida tan necesaria a mi mascota.
During these days, the rains have been intermittent, which is why my surroundings have become somewhat hostile, as weeds are beginning to cover everything, obscuring the streets and turning neglected lots into small jungles. From time to time, we come across a house under construction, while at other times we pass by the facades of those that are already inhabited. There is no doubt that in the future, when everything is organized, this area will be very beautiful.
Durante estos días las lluvias han sido intermitentes, razón por la cual mi entorno se ha vuelto un tanto hostil, ya que la maleza comienza a cubrirlo todo, disipando las calles y convirtiendo en pequeñas selvas a aquellos lotes que se encuentran en medio del descuido. De vez en cuando nos tropezamos con alguna casa en construcción, mientras que en otras oportunidades pasamos por la fachada de aquellas que ya se encuentran habitadas. No cabe la menor duda de que en un futuro, cuando todo esté organizado, este sector será muy lindo.
The positive side of this walk is that the girl is walking on completely natural terrain, which allows her and me to exercise in a very positive way. Believe it or not, contact with the earth is essential for our bodies and souls to develop properly, without losing our roots, but always looking forward.
El lado positivo de este paseo es que la niña está caminando sobre un terreno totalmente natural, el cual le permite a ella y a mí ejercitarnos de manera bastante positiva, chequen que parezca increíble el contacto con la tierra es fundamental para que nuestro cuerpo y alma se desarrollen de manera adecuada, sin perder nuestras raíces, pero siempre mirando hacia adelante.
