I always thought that in Caracas I would find beautiful squares, large shopping boulevards, spacious parks, and imposing churches, but it never occurred to me that I would have the opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen in my life. The La Estancia Art Center is one of those spaces that make a difference in a dynamic, lively city full of complexities, as it is an old mansion surrounded by unparalleled natural beauty, where you can breathe in a deep sense of peace, listen to the birds singing, and feel very good energy.

Un Jardín en Medio de la Ciudad
Siempre pensé que en Caracas iba a encontrarme lindas plazas, grandes bulevares comerciales, amplios parques e imponentes iglesias, pero jamás se me ocurrió que iba a tener la posibilidad de disfrutar de uno de los jardines más hermosos que he visto en mi vida. El Centro de Arte La Estancia, es uno de esos espacios que marcan la diferencia en una ciudad dinámica, viva y llena de complejidades, puesto que se trata de una vieja casona en cuyos alrededores se levanta una belleza natural inigualable, en donde se respira una paz profunda, se puede escuchar el cantar de las aves y al mismo tiempo se perciben muy buenas energías.
This space is like an oasis in the middle of a world full of noise and distractions. To walk along its paths is to experience firsthand the peace and perfection of the natural elements. Here, we get away from the hustle and bustle of cars, crowds of people, and the conflicts typical of a capital city, to immerse ourselves in an ideal space to relax, meditate, and think about how wonderful our lives are.
Este espacio es como un oasis en medio de un mundo lleno de ruidos y distracciones. Adentrarse en sus caminerías, es sentir en primera persona la paz y la perfección de los elementos naturales. Acá nos alejamos del bullicio de los carros, las aglomeraciones de personas y los conflictos propios de una ciudad capital, para sumergirnos en un espacio ideal para relajarse, meditar y pensar en lo maravillosa que resulta ser nuestra vida.
From the first impression, I was amazed, as you can see how perfectly cared for the whole place is, where the grass looks like a velvet blanket covering hills and small meadows and on which you can walk freely, sit or lie down, to interact with the elements of nature and reconnect with ourselves.
Desde la primera impresión yo quedé asombrado, puesto que se puede observar lo perfectamente cuidado que se encuentra todo el lugar, en donde la grama parece una sábana de terciopelo que cubre Colinas y pequeñas praderas y sobre la cual uno puede caminar libremente, sentarse o acostarse, para interactuar con los elementos de la naturaleza y reconectar con nosotros mismos.
I understand that years ago these spaces belonged to the embassy of a foreign country, but due to political decisions and the intervention of luck, the doors of this old mansion were opened to the people of Caracas and, on this occasion, to a visitor seeking to discover the secrets and beauties of a city that has it all, is beautiful, and is full of curiosities.
Tengo entendido que años atrás estos espacios pertenecían a la embajada de un país extranjero, pero por decisiones políticas e intervención de la suerte, las puertas de esta vieja casona se abrieron para el pueblo de Caracas y en esta oportunidad para un visitante que busca descubrir los secretos y bellezas de una ciudad que lo tiene todo, es hermosa y está llena de curiosidades.
On this walk, I felt calm, happy with myself, and full of good energy. I was able to leave many negative elements behind and open my heart to thank fate for allowing me to cross the doors of this enclosure, which I dare say is now one of my favorite places in this city.
En este paseo me sentí tranquilo, contento conmigo mismo y lleno de buenas energías, puede dejar atrás muchos elementos negativos y abrí mi corazón para agradecerle al destino por haberme permitido cruzar las puertas de este recinto, el cual me atrevo a decir que a partir de ahora es uno de mis lugares favoritos en esta ciudad.
It is located a few meters from the Altamira station on line 1 of the Caracas metro. In front of it runs Avenida Francisco de Miranda, one of the main and busiest avenues in the city. With all this, I mean that it is a space with privileged access by public transportation. And since it is located in one of the most commercial areas of the capital, we can enjoy excellent services, good security, and an environment that offers beautiful contrasts, as the large buildings stand like silent guardians of a small park that has remained unchanged over the years.
Se encuentra a muy pocos metros de la estación Altamira de la línea 1 del metro de Caracas, en su frente discurre la Avenida Francisco de Miranda, la cual es una de las principales y más transitadas de la ciudad, con todo esto quiero decir que se trata de un espacio cuyo acceso a través del transporte público es privilegiado y al encontrarse en una de las zonas más comerciales de la capital, podemos disfrutar de excelentes y buenos servicios, buena seguridad y un entorno que nos regala contrastes hermosos, ya que los grandes edificios se alzan como los guardianes silentes de un pequeño parque se mantiene firme ante el paso de los años.
The beautiful gardens are complemented by a huge colonial-style mansion, inside which, I understand, there are spaces for the exhibition and promotion of art, some rooms ideal for teaching, and common areas that serve as places to rest or simply sit for a while and enjoy a view that transcends time.
Los hermosos jardines son complementados por una enorme casona de características coloniales, en cuyo interior tengo entendido que se encuentran espacios destinados a la exposición y promoción del arte, algunos salones ideales para impartir conocimientos y espacios de uso común que sirven para descansar o simplemente sentarse un rato y disfrutar de una vista que trasciende el tiempo.
In general, these beautiful gardens are an incredibly beautiful space, nestled within a highly urbanized area, and for this reason, they serve as an escape and respite for those of us who, at certain times, seek peace and quiet. It is an honor for me to have had the opportunity to explore every corner of the La Estancia Art Center, a place I highly recommend, which in my opinion is a hidden treasure within a city that continues to offer us beautiful landscapes.
En reglas generales, estos bellos jardines constituyen un espacio increíblemente hermoso, están enclavados dentro de un área altamente urbanizada y por esta razón sirve como un área de escape y respiro para aquellos que en determinado momento buscamos paz y silencio. Para mí es un honor haber tenido la oportunidad de conocer cada rincón del Centro de Arte La Estancia, un lugar que recomiendo ampliamente, el cual a mi parecer es un tesoro escondido dentro de una ciudad que sigue regalándonos hermosos paisajes.
