"Una salida romántica" (es/en)

Todo comenzó como una tarde de sábado común y corriente como todas las demás. Me encontraba en mi triciclo vendiendo y se me acerca mi esposa y me dice: "Mi amor y si damos una vuelta hoy, hay un punto de venta de chocolates nuevo y quiero visitarlo", a lo que yo le respondí: "Sí, por qué no, vi un anuncio, hace un rato en Facebook que hoy sería la Noche Espirituana y es cerca del lugar que quieres ir".

Pues al culminar la tarde y mi jornada laboral, nos comenzamos a preparar los dos, conversamos con mi mamá y mi abuela si podía cuidar la niña un rato en la noche debido a que no nos gustaba la idea de que cogiera el sereno por su trayectoria enfermiza y aprovechando que el niño mayor estaba con su papá, para poder dedicarnos una salida a nosotros como parejas.

It all started as an ordinary Saturday afternoon like any other. I was on my tricycle selling and my wife came up to me and said: "My love and if we take a ride today, there is a new point of sale of chocolates and I want to visit it", to which I replied: "Yes, why not, I saw an ad, a while ago on Facebook that today would be the Noche Espirituana and it is near the place you want to go".

Well at the end of the afternoon and my workday, we began to prepare the two of us, we talked with my mom and my grandmother if she could take care of the girl for a while at night because we did not like the idea of her taking the night watch because of her sickly path and taking advantage that the older boy was with his dad, to be able to dedicate an outing to us as couples.

Nos bañamos, comimos y comenzamos a vestirnos, en 5 minutos ya yo estaba listo y mi mujer, como siempre, necesitó alrededor de media hora para maquillarse, hacerse esto y lo otro, en fin todo lo que se hacen las mujeres cuando van a salir.

Llegó el momento de la verdad, encontrar un transporte en que trasladarnos hacia el centro de la ciudad (vivo alrededor de unos 4 kilómetros de ese punto). Esperamos un tiempo y nos miramos ambos, sabíamos que esa hora no pasaría nada y decidimos irnos caminando. Al final ese momento andando se aprovecha debido a que conversamos cosas que a veces por tiempo no podemos conversar.

We bathed, ate and started to get dressed, in 5 minutes I was ready and my wife, as usual, needed about half an hour to make up, do this and that, in short everything that women do when they go out.

The moment of truth arrived, to find a transport to take us to the center of the city (I live about 4 kilometers from that point). We waited for a while and we both looked at each other, we knew that nothing would happen that hour and we decided to walk. In the end we took advantage of that time walking because we talked about things that sometimes we can't talk about due to time constraints.

El camino se nos fue muy rápido en lo que hablamos. Al llegar al centro de la ciudad se respiraba un ambiente de fin de semana en la que la juventud aprovecha su descanso de las escuelas y salen con sus amistades a disfrutar. Llegamos al local de venta de chocolates y mi esposa se compró sus golosinas, además de algunos extras que le llevábamos a los niños.

Seguimos andando un pequeño tramo más y llegamos al lugar donde se estaba celebrando la llamada "Noche Espirituana", allí habían carpas con ventas de bebidas, alimentos, chucherías y disímiles cosas; estaban puestas una especie de discoteca desarmable con equipos de reproducción de música y luces en cierto lugar de la calle.

The road went by very quickly as we talked. When we got to the center of the city, there was a weekend atmosphere as the young people took advantage of their break from school and went out with their friends to enjoy themselves. We arrived at the chocolate shop and my wife bought her candy, plus some extras for the kids.

We continued walking a little further and arrived at the place where they were celebrating the so-called "Noche Espirituana", there were tents selling drinks, food, knick-knacks and other things; there was a kind of disassembled discotheque with music reproduction equipment and lights in a certain place on the street.

El lugar era muy festivo y movido, pero mi esposa y yo al parecer hemos envejecido y eso que solo tenemos 27 años, no nos gustaba estar tan cerca de la música alta y en el tumulto de personas, por lo cual decidimos alejarnos un poco y sentarnos en un banco en el que la música no se escuchaba tan alta y no había tanta aglomeración de personas.

Estando allí compré unas cervezas para ambos y activamos el modo relajación, continuamos conversando sobre todo de la vida, de nuestros planes, del futuro y en cierto momento solo nos quedábamos tranquilos mirando a las personas y acariciando como si dos recién enamorados se tratara.

The place was very festive and lively, but my wife and I seem to have aged and we are only 27 years old, we did not like to be so close to the loud music and the crowd of people, so we decided to move away a little and sit on a bench where the music was not so loud and there was not so many people.

While we were there I bought some beers for both of us and we activated the relaxation mode, we continued talking about life, our plans, the future and at a certain point we just sat quietly looking at people and caressing each other as if we were two newly in love.

Estuvimos allí hasta más o menos las 12 de la noche, ya estábamos muy cansados (ese día ambos habíamos trabajado) y decidimos marcharnos hacia la casa, llegamos al parque, tomamos una motoneta (motor de 3 ruedas que funciona como taxi) y partimos hacia la casa. La verdad fue una noche maravillosa la que pasé junto a mi esposa y eso que fue algo fugaz sin estar planificado.

We were there until about 12 o'clock at night, we were already very tired (we had both worked that day) and decided to leave for home, we arrived at the park, took a scooter (3-wheeled motor that works as a cab) and left for home. The truth is that it was a wonderful night that I spent with my wife and it was something fleeting without being planned.
