Amor en Blanco y Negro (Esp/Eng)

Hola comunidad de Hive Pets, es mi primer escrito acá y me da mucho gusto de pertenecer a esta familia amantes de sus mascotas y de los animales en general.

Amor en Blanco y Negro así título mi post, no, no voy a hablarles de la teleserie turca, vengo a hablarles de mi perro dálmata. Su nombre es Aslan, si se que les suena conocido, es basado en el nombre del león de la serie literaria y serie de películas "Las Crónicas de Narnia". Escogí personalmente ese nombre por lo valiente y la actitud de líder que tiene el personaje en la historia, y a mí familia le encantó.

Love in Black and White is the title of my post, no, I'm not going to tell you about the Turkish TV series, I'm going to tell you about my Dalmatian dog. His name is Aslan, yes I know it sounds familiar, it is based on the name of the lion from the literary series and movie series "The Chronicles of Narnia". I personally chose that name because of the character's fearlessness and leadership attitude in the story, and my family loved it.

Aslan nació un 17 de febrero del año 2019, por lo tanto ya tiene 4 años de edad. Fue un regalo que le realizó un amigo de la familia a mi hermana por cumplir sus 15 años. De pequeño era un cachorro tranquilo y muy cariñoso. Se pasaba casi todo el tiempo durmiendo, principalmente en los pies y brazos de nosotros para sentir el calor de sus dueños.

Al pasar el tiempo y en solo meses fue creciendo mucho, muchisimo diría yo, se había animado más y ya no era un perro tranquilo, se había convertido en uno muy juguetón e intranquilo. Corría por todo la casa desde el portal hasta el patio una y otra vez, me informé al respecto en algunas páginas de Internet y todas coincidían en que los dálmatas son una raza muy activa y esa manera de correr era para de alguna forma gastar su energía acumulada.

Aslan was born on February 17, 2019, so he is already 4 years old. He was a gift from a family friend to my sister for her 15th birthday. As a little boy he was a quiet and very affectionate puppy. He spent most of the time sleeping, mainly in our feet and arms to feel the warmth of his owners.

As time went by and in just months he grew up a lot, a lot I would say, he had become more animated and was no longer a quiet dog, he had become a very playful and restless one. He was running all over the house from the doorway to the yard over and over again, I checked some websites about it and they all agreed that Dalmatians are a very active breed and that way of running was to somehow spend his accumulated energy.

En estas ojeadas que les daba a informaciones y aprendiendo un poco más sobre los dálmatas, me topé con que la raza por lo general se enfermaba mucho de los riñones e incluso en graves casos les podía causar la muerte, lo cual me asustó mucho. Siendo un cachorro aún llegó su primera crisis, fue muy doloroso verlo así, no podía orinar por mucho que quisiera y el dolor era tan fuerte que quedaba tumbado de las patas de atrás. En seguida corrí con el hacia el veterinario y me dijo que no me preocupara que no era muy grave y tenía el medicamento indicado para ello, efectivamente, al pasar par de días y con varias dosis se recuperó del todo. Se ha enfermado de lo mismo en tres ocasiones más pero ya tengo la experiencia de como tratarlo.

Hoy en día Aslan es todo un perro adulto y está echo todo un semental. Tal es el caso que ha preñado dos perritas de las cuales han nacido varios hijos hermosos y fuertes como él. Actualmente tiene otra dálmata hembra en estado a la espera de más cachorritos descendientes del "King Aslan".

It was very painful to see him like that, he could not urinate no matter how much he wanted to and the pain was so strong that he was lying on his back legs. I immediately ran with him to the vet and he told me not to worry because it was not very serious and he had the medicine indicated for it, indeed, after a couple of days and with several doses he recovered completely. He has been sick of the same thing in three more occasions but I already have the experience of how to treat him.

Today Aslan is a full grown dog and he is a stallion. Such is the case that he has impregnated two puppies from which several beautiful and strong offspring like him have been born. At the moment he has another female Dalmatian waiting for more puppies descendants of "King Aslan".

Mi hermana y yo jugamos en ocasiones para que el elija con quien ir, ubicándolo en el medio y nosotros a los extremos. La mayoría de las veces va hacia mi por lo que desata todo los celos de mi hermana jajaja. A él lo tenemos generalmente en el patio de la casa, cuando me siente hablar o por increíble que parezca me huele, se pone a ladrar y hasta que no llegue a su lado y lo acaricie no se detiene.

My sister and I sometimes play with him so that he chooses who to go with, placing him in the middle and us at the extremes. Most of the time he goes towards me so he unleashes all my sister's jealousy hahaha. We usually keep him in the backyard of the house, when he feels me talking or as incredible as it may seem he smells me, he starts barking and until I don't get to his side and pet him he doesn't stop.
