El afluente más importante de mi tierra es el río Curarí, algunos lo llaman el río Curariguita, de allí el nombre del pueblo, Curarigua de Leal.

Todo gira en torno a él, es la principal fuente fluvial, sirve para abastecer las siembras de los habitantes de los caseríos que van desde Barbacoas, Potrerito, Uvedal, San Antonio, San Isidro, Campo Alegre, Santa Rosa y pare de contar, pues realmente es una lista mucho más larga y que no la manejo en su totalidad.

Lo cierto, es que nos provee de vida a todos los campesinos que tenemos la dicha de hacer vida en el valle de Curarigua o como yo, un citadino que se siente parte de todo eso.

Jeremías es un superfanático de todo esto, el lunes antes de venirnos decidimos emprender una larga caminata para ver si podíamos bañarnos en sus aguas, fuimos hasta el siguiente caserío, Santo Domingo, allí se pueden apreciar grandes paisajes y lo majestuoso de todo el valle, además es un sitio que sirve de parada debido a que se puede encontrar señal telefónica para poder comunicarse si es necesario.

Mientras yo me comunicaba con el mundo exterior con la señal de los datos, Jeremías aprovechaba del esplendor, de los colores y la libertad que regalan estos paisajes. Las piedras fueron sus juguetes, el agua su cobija y las montañas sus protectores.

The most important tributary of my land is the Curarí River, some call it the Curariguita River, hence the name of the town, Curarigua de Leal.

Everything revolves around it, it is the main river source, it serves to supply the crops of the inhabitants of the villages ranging from Barbacoas, Potrerito, Uvedal, San Antonio, San Isidro, Campo Alegre, Santa Rosa and stop counting, because it really is a much longer list and I do not handle it in its entirety.

Jeremias is a super fan of all this, on Monday before coming we decided to take a long walk to see if we could bathe in its waters, we went to the next village, Santo Domingo, there you can see great scenery and the majesty of the whole valley, it is also a place that serves as a stop because you can find phone signal to communicate if necessary.

While I communicated with the outside world with the data signal, Jeremías took advantage of the splendor, the colors and the freedom that these landscapes offer. The rocks were his toys, the water his blanket and the mountains his protectors.
