Ayer y hoy estuve en el "conuco" de mi prima Sally Karina, hace aproximadamente 3 meses había sembrado Caraotas y ya era el tiempo indicado para recogerlas.

Fue un trabajo duro. Temprano hay que arrancar las matas a pulso, luego se solean para después darle con unos palos para que el grano salga de la cáscara. Escribirlo se ve bastante sencillo, pero hay que fajarse. Ahora mismo tengo unas cuantas ampollas en las manos.

El trabajo debe realizarse bajo el sol, ayer los trabajadores habituales llegaron con su vestimenta de campo y bien cubiertos, en mi caso llegué normal y me queme más de la cuenta. Hoy si me vine más protegido y logramos terminar toda la siembra. Cogimos 6 sacos.

Se termina muy cansado tras la jornada, pero la experiencia es muy enriquecedora, en medio de la faena se comparte, se cuentan anécdotas, en el desayuno, el almuerzo y en medio de la tarea. El cansancio se va luego de un buen baño.

Yesterday and today I was in my cousin Sally Karina's "conuco", about 3 months ago I had planted Caraotas and it was the right time to harvest them.

The work must be done under the sun, yesterday the usual workers arrived with their field clothes and well covered, in my case I arrived normal and I burned more than I should have. Today I came more protected and we managed to finish all the sowing. We took 6 sacks.

You end up very tired after the day, but the experience is very enriching, in the middle of the work you share, tell anecdotes, at breakfast, lunch and in the middle of the task. The tiredness goes away after a good bath.
