The Money No One Wanted

Hello, Asean Hive Friends! I hope everyone is well and happy.

How's life? Has it been good to you? It is so far to me but I am afraid about some storm brewing in the depths.

But without further ado, let me share with you how beautiful our 1000 peso bill is; but despite its beauty, no one wanted to keep them.

Here are some snaps I took using my Huawei y9s camera.

This bill was released by the Central Bank last year but it had issues. Everybody was excited to get their hand in it but they said it cannot be folded nor crumpled.

There are some people who accidentally lost their money, not because they lost the money but they lost its value. There was an incident when a man folded the bill and the cashier in the mall refused to receive it because it was mandated that the money should not be folded.
Just last month, a man accidentally ironed his pants with the money inside and they shrank. I never knew if the central bank changed it or what but it made me afraid of having them in my hands.

It's not only me though; in fact, the money that I took pictures of was from my co-worker and he said it is what the ATM machine dispensed earlier that day and he wanted to exchange them with an old 1000 peso bill that my other co-worker paid for our savings.

But maybe there are still people who wanted to have them, they look so beautiful, no one can deny. I guess thsie people are those who owned long wallet that won't crumple or fold the bill.

In my own opinion, it's better that majority is afraid of having them; I just can't imagine those beautiful bills to be soiled with fish blood in the market and anything that could ruin it.
