Shadows in the City: Shadow Hunter Contest 395 Entry

Hello, everyone! I am glad to be with you once again after a long long week of being absent. It was my loss, yes and I regret not being able to be here those times.

I took this photo when I went to the city to buy some baking goods It was very hot and so there my shadow on the road was very clear.

My journey started when I hitched a ride with my husband, he went to the city with his friend to sell goods. it was already past 2 pm at that time.

This is one of the places we happen to pass by; I was on a moving vehicle so I was not able to take many pictures I as much as I wanted to. The place above is in Balubal, it was some sort of government office and the location is just so amazing.

While my husband and his friend was unloading the goods, I went to the store to buy the Items I needed; the were on the list so it was easier.

Here are random shots form while I took a walk towards the store

So I was walking on the road and this blue vehicle passed by me; it carried lots of green bananas which are ready to be sold on the market. People loves banana, be it green or ripe. It ripen fast anyway because the city is on the coastal area. Ohh, and the camera caught a shadow of my head too!

Then as I went near the overpass,I caught its huge shadow,which serves as a huge shelter for the pedestrians. I honestly am not used to the heat of the city and shadows like this would feel great.

Soon I passed by the overpass, the strong sun had once again prevailed and I hot my shadow on again and this time, a tall electric post is beside me

So ai had to cross the road and I had to go under the fly over; While waiting for the road to clear, I took the opportunity to take a picture of the daily fresh outlet which has the same owner of the company where I work. We produce the feds, the farm raises the hens and produces the eggs and they are the ones selling the eggs. Amazing business, right?

More vehicles are coming and I am afraid of crossing the road because of them.

Soon I finally reached the store; it's called Monster kitchen If I was right and it sells many baking materials in their store as well and raw materials

These lady love baking I guess; she is carefully curating every product before putting them in her cart

There are many powders that are used for flavoring as well; I honestly thought that they are very expensive but the powder flavor is just a little over three dollars only.

They have many things to choose from and since I only came for a baking paper and a chocolate powder, I finished early and just looked around very fast, enough to take pictures of the things around for the fear of being left by my husband.

Since I only knew the basics of baking, I really don't know where to use most of the things that I saw. But I am overjoyed to see them just like a 5 year old kid seeing lots of toys in the mall. Anyway, I had to rush back to the place where my husband was and I am very glad that I hurried on my way.
