Hello, hello everyone! How are you all? I hope you are well and happy.

Are you your spouse's first love? If you are, then you are lucky, but if not, well, they say save the best for last ain't they?

As for me, I am not my husband's first love but chill, my husband's first love is not a woman but a sport. He loves boxing too much and I believe I have posted about it here sometime way back.

So the fiesta and the Araw ng barangay( a celebration of when our barangay was established) on January, the barangay chairman had some budgets for kalingawan( entertainment )as we call it in our tongue.

There were pageants, motocross, live bands, dance and singing contests and my husband's happiness, amateur boxing tournament.

My husband is one of the contingents so I poured my support by going home early.

When I arrived at the covered court, I saw my husband very happy and he had met his old friends, some old coaches and boxers and even new ones too!

People in my place knew about my husband going to fight later that day, and one of the neighbors actually went to our house at seven in the morning worrying that the boxing ring was still not at the venue yet. They were far more excited than he was but I had some worries in my heart.

The audience is composed of everybody, from kids to oldies who were fans of boxing and those who were aspiring to be one. Some of the boxers even came from faraway places like Davao, Claveria, and some places in Misamis Oriental and some some came from the other barangays in Bukidnon too!

This is just sports but the people can't be stopped from betting on their favorite player. Before the game starts, people will shout 'Blue! Blue! Blue of Pula!(red) pula! pula! until they find somebody who they can transact with.

As the game went on, I stole pictures of the people around me. Some vloggers are around too!

Seated were Jane and his husband, they were from Camiguin Island and they came just to see kids box. They had a son who is a boxer too.

Coach Danny and I, I have known him since I was little since he is one of the coins of my aunt's husband.

After the match, the boxers were held by the referee and will wait for the announcement of the winner.

This lad had just finished his fight and is still sweaty. He came to my husband's side to ask him something

Some boxers pray before the match too! I was so touched when seeing him asking guidance and strength from the almighty.

And action!

There was too much action in the event, some I took videos with but just can't share with you here. some fights were funny, some were serious and some boxers gets so boastful yet they fell a moment later.

I had a great experience in this event, I had a new environment around me meeting my husband's old friends. Some even went to our house for dinner and I saw some of the boxers has black eyes and bruises.

I enjoyed watching my husband so much, being with his old friends and doing what he loves so much.
