Cleaning up in Hamburg during the Buzzparty2024 (GER/ENG)

Hallo Leute!

im Rahmen der @Buzzparty am vergangenen Wochenende sind wir am Sonntag mit der Fähre von den Hamburger Landungsbrücken nach Hamburg-Teufelsbrück gefahren und haben zwischen Teufelsbrück und dem Elbstrand Müll eingesammelt.

Um Greifzangen, Mülltüten und die Verpflegung für unterwegs hat sich @tibfox hervorragend gekümmert (wie übrigens um alles an diesem Wochenende).

as part of the @Buzzparty last weekend we took the ferry from Hamburg Landungsbrücken to Hamburg-Teufelsbrück on Sunday and collected some garbage between Teufelsbrück and the Elbstrand.

Grabbing tongs, garbage bags and drinks for the road were provided by @tibfox. He did an excellent job (as he did with everything else this weekend).

Gut ausgerüstet ging es dann auf den Weg und es dauerte nicht lange, bis der erste Schnippsel entdeckt und eingesammelt wurde. Hier war @minigunner der erste der sich den Müll schnappte und diesen dann in einer Mülltüte entsorgte.

Well equipped, we set off and it wasn't long before the first snippet was discovered and collected. Here @minigunner was the first to grab the garbage and dispose of it in a trash bag.

Tatsächlich gab es gar nicht so viel Müll einzusammeln wie an anderen Stellen. Trotzdem haben wir jeden kleinsten Müll, den vielleicht vorher andere übersehen haben, noch entsorgt. Wahrscheinlich wird dieser, von Touristen und Spaziergängern viel genutzter Weg, von den Behörden regelmäßig sauber gehalten.
Die Aussicht von hier ist nämlich auch ganz nett. Im Bild hat sich übrigens der @bechibenner reingeschlichen. Mit ihm und dem @werkseber zusammen haben wir eine Mülltüte gefüllt.

In fact, there wasn't as much garbage to collect as in other places. Nevertheless, we still disposed of every last bit of garbage that others may have overlooked before. This path, which is often used by tourists and walkers, is probably kept clean by the authorities on a regular basis.
The view from here is also quite nice. By the way, @bechibenner snuck into the picture. Together with him and @werkseber we filled a trash bag.

Alles haben wir dann doch nicht entsorgt. Dieses kleine Kuscheltier haben wir am Wegesrand deponiert. Vermutlich ist es aus einem Kinderwagen gefallen und irgendjemand sucht jetzt vielleicht danach.

We didn't dispose of everything after all. We left this little cuddly toy by the side of the road. It probably fell out of a baby carriage and someone might be looking for it now.

Den Rest des gesammelten Mülls haben wir dann ordnungsgemäß in die aufgestellten Mülleimer entsorgt. Übrigens gab es entlang des Wegs sehr viele dieser aufgestellten Mülleimer. Wahrscheinlich auch ein Grund dafür, das hier nicht so viel Müll herumlag. Hier könnten Sie andere Gemeinden ein Beispiel nehmen.

We then disposed of the rest of the collected garbage properly in the garbage cans provided. Incidentally, there were lots of these garbage cans along the path. Probably another reason why there wasn't so much garbage lying around. Other municipalities could take this as an example.

Yes, this was a great experiance. Good thing the beach was no too dirty and we did not have to pickup a lot of trash lol. I think this was the cleanest part of Germany 😂😂😂

Grüß dich und großartige Arbeit! Ich bin wirklich beeindruckt, wie viel ihr gesammelt habt! Wir konnten nicht mithalten, vor allem Benny gab Vollgas beim Sammeln! Es war ein super Tag und das Wetter hat wirklich gut gepasst!

Ja, das war eine schöne Gemeinschaftsaktion. Du und bechibenner habt wirklich Gas gegeben. Da kam ich in meinem Schildkrötentempo wirklich nicht hinterher. Der Dank gebührt also euch beiden.

Ich weiß, es fällt mir nur immer noch schwer zu akzeptieren, dass gewisse Dinge nicht mehr so gut zu bewerkstelligen sind. Aber der Gewöhnungsprozess ist im Gang.

Fortunately, the weather was perfect for a @cleanplanet walk so we didn't canceled it and the team did an amazing job :) We also got many kind words of people walking past - it was a great feeling to be a part of such a big @cleanplanet walk :) My upcoming walks will be lonesome but I am thinking of organizing a group of 10 in the late summer. Hope it will work out ^^

Ja, stimmt. Hatte aber den Termin nicht wahrnehmen können. Schade drum, Zumindest ist das Tikett nicht verfallen tibfox hat es an eine wartende Glückliche weiter geleitet.

Hey I saw that yellow toy as well and went round and round about what to do with it, so as well as you, I left it there xD

It was fun to go there by ferry and know that side of the city, if it wasn’t for the activity I think I would miss it.
