Buzzparty in Hamburg
Hallo Leute!
Ich weiß nicht, wie viele von euch es mitbekommen haben, aber @tibfox veranstaltet im Zeitraum vom 20. bis 21. April des nächsten Jahres eine @buzzparty in Hamburg (2024 nach Christus). Eine Buzzparty ist letztlich ein Meetup für uns Hivians.
Da dieses im nächsten Jahr für 2 Tage angesetzt ist, entspricht es schon einem kleinen Hivefest.
Der Ort Hamburg ist für Tibfox ein Heimspiel und ein gut gewählter Ort. Ich denke Hamburg ist auch für viele andere Europäer gut zu erreichen (England, Frankreich, Niederlande, etc.).
Für mich Niederrheiner bedeutet das eine rund 3,5-stündige Fahrt gen Norden mit dem Auto oder ein 5,5-stündiges "Abenteuer!" mit der Deutschen Bahn.
Die Karte (für 5 HBD) habe ich mir auf jeden Fall schon einmal gesichert und ich wünsche mir, das noch viele Hivians folgen werden. Außerdem hoffe ich, das ich dort dann auch @mima2606 (ebenfalls Hamburger) kennen lernen kann, der in den letzten Wochen ziemlich leise hier geworden ist.
Gespannt bin ich auch auf den @reiseamateur . Nimmt er die weite Reise bis in den Norden Deutschlands auf sich und entpuppt sich letztlich als Reiseprofi?
Das gewählte Wochenende ist eine Woche vor dem Hamburg-Marathon. Wer sich also für Fit genug hält, der kann direkt eine Woche verlängern und seine Laufkünste entlang der Elbe präsentieren.

I don't know how many of you have heard, but @tibfox is hosting a @buzzparty in Hamburg (2024 AD) between April 20-21 next year. A buzzparty is actually a meetup for us Hivians.
Since this is scheduled for 2 days next year, it already is like a small Hivefest.
The location Hamburg is a home game for Tibfox and a well-chosen place. I think this location is also easy to reach for many other Europeans (England, France, Netherlands, etc.).
For me from the Lower Rhine region, that means a 3.5-hour drive north by car or a 5.5-hour "adventure" on the Deutsche Bahn.
In any case, I have already secured the ticket (for 5 HBD) and I hope that many more Hivians will follow. I also hope that I will be able to meet @mima2606 there, who has become rather quiet here in the last few weeks.
I'm also curious about @reiseamateur . Will he make the long journey to the north of Germany and actually turn out to be a travel pro?
The chosen weekend is one week before the Hamburg Marathon. So if you think you're fit enough, you can extend it by a week and show off your running skills along the Elbe.
Vorbereitung / Prep
Auf dem Account von @buzzparty (unbedingt Folgen) werden demnächst mehr Informationen zum Event mitgeteilt (Reise-/ Übernachtungstipps, Vorstellung der Sprecher und Themen, etc.).
Ziemlich sicher bin ich mir, dass auch @detlev dort sein wird und etwas zum Thema Community beitragen wird. Bevor es dann zum #beersaturday in den Abend (oder die Nacht) übergeht.

Vielleicht werden auch die Macher des @hiq.magazine und des @craftink Spieles vor Ort sein und uns dort den "heißesten Scheiß" präsentieren. Quekery hat in einem Beitrag da so etwas angedeutet.
More information about the event (travel/accommodation tips, introduction of speakers and topics, etc.) will soon be shared on the @buzzparty account (be sure to follow).
I'm pretty sure @detlev will also be there and contribute something on the topic of community. Before it turns into the evening (or night) for #beersaturday.

Den Segen meiner Frau habe ich mir für diese Reise bereits eingeholt. Allerdings ist es schon schwer zu erklären, dass nach meinem letzten Hivefest in Amsterdam ein weiteres Event in Hamburg stattfindet. Ausgerechnet wieder eine Stadt mit einem über die Grenzen hinaus bekanntem Rotlichtviertel.
I've already got my wife's blessing for this trip. However, it's hard to explain that after my last Hivefest in Amsterdam, another event is taking place in Hamburg. Again, of all places, a city with a red light district that is known beyond its borders.
