Un día en familia / A family day

Hola, amigos de Hive:

Decir HIVECUBA es decir amigos, es decir ayuda, es decir solidaridad, es decir unión, es decir estudio, es decir superación, es decir familia. Una muestra de ello se manifestó en el día de ayer 16 de febrero cuando nos reunirnos unos cuantos miembros de esta gran familia en la Fortaleza San Carlos de la Cabaña en la capital de Cuba.

Hello, friends of Hive:

To say HIVECUBA is to say friends, is to say help, is to say solidarity, is to say union, is to say study, is to say overcoming, is to say family. An example of this was shown yesterday, February 16th, when a few members of this great family gathered at the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress in the capital of Cuba.

Ubicada en el Complejo Morro - Cabaña se encuentra esta antigua instalación que alberga tanta historia y atrae la atención de las personas por su arquitectura y conservación.

Motivo de la actual 31 Feria del libro, que se efectúa en este lugar desde el 9 de febrero y que se extenderá hasta el día 19 del presente mes, nos quisimos juntar la comunidad HIVECUBA para vernos, conversar y pasar un tiempo en el mismo espacio físico.

Located in the Morro - Cabaña Complex is this old facility that holds so much history and attracts people's attention because of its architecture and conservation.

Due to the current 31st Book Fair, which has been taking place here since the 9th of February and will last until the 19th of this month, the HIVECUBA community wanted to get together to meet, talk and spend some time in the same physical space.

Nos pusimos de acuerdo para llegar juntos hasta acá los amigos @jordy0827; @rainerlester8308; la adorable niña María Claudia (hija de esta pareja); @lileisabel y yo.

Friends @jordy0827; @rainerlester8308; the adorable little girl María Claudia (daughter of this couple); @lileisabel and I agreed to come here together.

Un hermoso puente nos llevó hacia la entrada de la fortaleza, mientras el paisaje a nuestro alrededor nos enamoraba con sus vistas encantadoras que nos hacía remontarnos en la historia y viajar a través de la memoria a la etapa medieval.

Con un beso y un abrazo nos saludamos todos; así como si nos conociéramos de toda la vida. Es precisamente esta empatía interpersonal la que nos mueve, aún sin conocernos físicamente muchos de nosotros... Supongo que es la magia de HIVE.

A beautiful bridge took us to the entrance of the fortress, while the landscape around us enchanted us with its enchanting views that made us go back in history and travel through memory to the medieval period.

With a kiss and a hug we all greeted each other as if we had known each other all our lives. It is precisely this interpersonal empathy that moves us, even if many of us don't know each other physically... I guess that's the magic of HIVE.

Llegamos hasta el encuentro de los primeros que habían llegado: @infiltrate; @manuphotos; @garorant y un nuevo amigo que pronto se nos sumará. Estos son rostros de felicidad cuando vemos a personas que nos son tan cercanas y compartimos comunes intereses. 🥰

We arrived to meet the first ones who had arrived: @infiltrate; @manuphotos; @garorant and a new friend who will soon join us. These are happy faces when we see people who are so close to us and share common interests. 🥰

Acá @pumarte y @denisda los artistas del Paseo del Prado, cada cual con su estilo: fotografía y pintura respectivamente. Son dos amigos con los que ya había compartido en vivo y siempre es un placer tenerlos cerca.

Here @pumarte and @denisda the artists of the Paseo del Prado, each with their own style: photography and painting respectively. They are two friends with whom I had already shared live and it's always a pleasure to have them around.

Con toda esta tropa reunida nos fuimos bajo la sombra de un frondoso árbol y nos sentamos sobre el césped haciendo un círculo para conversar entre todos. Aquí se nos unieron el amigo @nony y la amiga @estilodereba que escaparon a mis fotos de encuentro.

With all this troop gathered together we went under the shade of a leafy tree and sat down on the grass in a circle to talk to each other. Here we were joined by our friend @nony and our friend @estilodereba who escaped my meeting photos.

Nuestro líder @manuphotos hizo la introducción a la charla hablándonos sobre el crecimiento paulatino que ha tenido la comunidad que nos une y que cada día sigue en aumento con la llegada de nuevos usuarios que enriquecen con sus contenidos a la gran colmena.

Hicimos un ejercicio de tormenta de ideas donde cada cual aportó pensamientos de expansión como comunidad para captar la atención de más personas que se nos unan a HIVE, amén de la gestión personal que cada uno ha venido realizando.

Extrañamos la presencia de muchos que no pudieron asistir por razones como los compromisos de trabajo y la lejanía. Tenemos integrantes de varios puntos de nuestra isla, pero que se sepa que estuvieron presentes también en el pensamiento de todos.

Our leader @manuphotos introduced the talk by talking to us about the gradual growth of the community that unites us and that continues to increase every day with the arrival of new users who enrich the great hive with their content.

We did a brainstorming exercise where everyone contributed their thoughts on how to expand as a community in order to attract the attention of more people to join HIVE, in addition to the personal management that each one of us has been carrying out.

We missed the presence of many who were unable to attend for reasons such as work commitments and distance. We have members from various parts of our island, but let it be known that they were also present in everyone's thoughts.

Salieron muy buenas propuestas de allí para darnos a conocer entre la población cubana, tanto por las redes sociales como algunos proyectos de interacción con el público cara a cara que ya se anda cocinando por acá y otras tantas ideas que no quiero adelantar hasta que se concreten. 🙏

Buenos consejos y tips para futuras publicaciones, así como la invitación a los diferentes canales de Discord, donde tanto se aprende y se comparte con usuarios trascendiendo fronteras terrestres.

Some very good proposals came out of there to make ourselves known among the Cuban population, both through social networks and through some projects for face-to-face interaction with the public that are already being cooked up here, as well as many other ideas that I don't want to go into detail about until they come to fruition. 🙏

Good advice and tips for future publications, as well as the invitation to the different Discord channels, where so much is learned and shared with users transcending terrestrial borders.

De la mano de nuestro @manuphotos recibimos pullovers con el logo del evento HIVECUBACOM realizado el pasado el mes de noviembre acá en La Habana y que luciré con mucho orgullo de ser parte de esta gran familia. Algunos no alcanzaron pullover, pero esto ya está en vía de solución.

From the hand of our @manuphotos we received pullovers with the logo of the HIVECUBACOM event held last November here in Havana and that I will wear with great pride to be part of this great family. Some didn't get a pullover, but this is already on the way to being solved.

Luego de concluir la charla, continuamos conversando más informalmente entre risas y chistes de cosas cómicas que nos han ocurrido en esta travesía del mundo de HIVE.

Yo recibí otro regalo especial que me trajo la bella María Claudia (la niña de @jordy0827 y @rainerlester8308) quien se portó muy bien en este día, pues el sol estaba fuerte y el cansancio se hacía notar. Ella me trajo un lindo vestido como obsequio para mi bebé, lo cual le agradecí mucho.❤️

After the chat was over, we continued chatting more informally amidst laughter and jokes about funny things that have happened to us on this journey through the world of HIVE.

I received another special gift from the beautiful María Claudia (@jordy0827 and @rainerlester8308's girl) who behaved very well on this day, as the sun was strong and the tiredness was noticeable. She brought me a nice dress as a gift for my baby, for which I was very grateful. ❤️

Al terminar, dimos un recorrido por los diferentes pabellones expositivos y kioskos de venta de libros y artículos escolares. Alguna pequeña compra se pudo realizar, sobre todo para los más pequeños de la casa.

At the end, we took a tour of the different exhibition pavilions and kiosks selling books and school supplies. Some small purchases could be made, especially for the youngest members of the family.

Aprovechando el acompañamiento del paisaje y de la vista privilegiada de la bahía desde el lado opuesto al que con más frecuencia visitamos, hicimos algunas tomas de nuestra bella ciudad.

Taking advantage of the scenery and the privileged view of the bay from the side opposite to the one we most frequently visit, we took some shots of our beautiful city.

Este cartel nos despedía, pero con una inmensa alegría y agradecimiento por haber llegado hasta esta gran familia. Ya sea presentes físicamente o a través de la pantalla del teléfono llevo poco más de tres meses experimentando sentimientos tan bonitos como lo son la amistad, la hermandad y la ayuda entre todos.

Feliz de compartir con ustedes mi experiencia de encuentro con una parte de mi familia de HIVEcuba, me despido.

This poster bid us farewell, but with immense joy and gratitude for having come to this great family. Whether physically present or through the phone screen, I have been experiencing such beautiful feelings as friendship, brotherhood and help among all of us for a little more than three months.

Happy to share with you my experience of meeting a part of my HIVEcuba family, I bid you farewell.
