| Hello, friends! We have a narrow window in our bathroom, covered by Roman shades with striped fabric—dark stripes block the light, while lighter ones let some in, though nothing is visible from the outside. This creates a play of light and shadow, especially at sunset, when the world outside can be glimpsed through the slits. At that moment, the window shrinks to a tiny perspective, making it seem like the world exists only in fragments—black stripe, white stripe, black again... It’s much like our times: we see the world through a limited scope of information, through bits of truth and half-truths. Sometimes, we think we see the full picture, but in reality, we only see what this striped "shade" allows. The key is to remember that beyond this narrow window, the world is much wider. And even if, for now, we only perceive it through dark and light stripes, we must not forget—beyond them, there is an entire sky. | Привіт, друзі! У нас у ванній є вузьке вікно, яке закривають римські штори. Вони мають смугасту тканину: темні смуги не пропускають світло, а світлі – трохи його пропускають, але при цьому з вулиці все одно нічого не видно. Виходить така собі гра світла і тіні, особливо на заході сонця, коли крізь ці смужки можна спостерігати навколишній світ. Тоді вікно стає зовсім маленьким, звужується до вузької перспективи, і здається, що світ існує лише у фрагментах – чорна смуга, біла смуга, чорна знову... Це дуже нагадує наші часи: ми дивимося на світ крізь обмежений простір інформації, крізь шматочки правди та напівправди. Іноді нам здається, що ми бачимо картину повністю, але насправді ми бачимо тільки те, що пропускає ця смугаста «штора». Головне – не забувати, що за цим вузьким вікном світ набагато ширший. І навіть якщо поки що ми бачимо його лише крізь темні та світлі смуги, варто пам’ятати: за ними є ціле небо. |
