| Hello, friends! It might seem from these photos that today in Lviv was a sunny, bright, and warm day. But that's not quite true, because although the day was indeed sunny and bright, it was far from warm — an extremely cold wind was blowing. In fact, tonight (meaning tomorrow morning) frost is forecasted, and that's directly related to the chill. When it's hot and you see a fountain, you naturally want to jump in and cool off, feeling the essence of summer. But when the sun is shining and it's cold at the same time, a kind of cognitive dissonance arises: there's a fountain, there's sunshine, but there's no warmth. It creates very mixed feelings. Perhaps that's why there were surprisingly few people around the beautiful fountain today. Usually, on hot summer days, it's crowded with kids running through the water jets to cool off. But this cold snap won't last long — just two days, and then more typical late spring weather is expected to return. | Привіт, друзі Може здатися, судячи з цих фотографій, що сьогодні у Львові був сонячний, яскравий і теплий день. Але це не зовсім так, тому що день справді був сонячний і яскравий, проте зовсім не теплий — дув надзвичайно холодний вітер. Взагалі сьогодні вночі (тобто завтра вранці) прогнозують заморозки, і це пов'язано саме з цим фактом Коли в спеку бачиш фонтан, з'являється природне бажання залізти в нього, охолодитися й відчути справжнє літо. Але коли світить сонце і водночас холодно, виникає певна когнітивна дисонанс: фонтан є, сонце є, а тепла — немає. Це викликає дуже двоякі відчуття. Мабуть, саме тому біля такого красивого фонтану сьогодні було дивовижно мало людей. Зазвичай у літню спеку там купа дітлахів, які бігають крізь струмені води, освіжаючись Та це похолодання ненадовго — лише на два дні. Далі обіцяють повернення більш традиційної для пізньої весни погоди. |
