I had an ancient construction that served me as a reference: the Iglesia Parroquial Mayor. It is located in the center of the city and is a jewel of Spanish colonial architecture in Cuba. Its tower is 40 meters high and it is said that it was looted by pirates in the 17th century. Before visiting Sancti Spiritus I did not know of its existence and that made me realize that I should learn more about my beautiful island. During the tour I noticed that its buildings could be seen from different places, as if all roads lead you to it. In every street that its imposing architecture dazzled me I photographed it and today I share with you this small selection of the oldest temple in Cuba.
