Introduce Myself: Solo un poco de mí/Just a little bit of me
Un saludo a todos los miembros de la comunidad de Hive, agradezco la oportunidad de poder ser parte de este espacio de intercambio de experiencias, vivencias y amistad. He conocido de Hive a través de amigos y colegas de trabajo como @yanerkidiaz, @ibcabrera y @moraleskatia y por mi papá @felpach. Esta es mi primera publicación, lo cual no les voy a negar, me resulta difícil. Llevo días pensando qué decirles de manera tal que a través de estas líneas conozcan un poco de mí.

Mi nombre es Yelineis Pacheco Suárez, para algunos un nombre complejo, para mí significa el más grande y puro amor, ya que fue seleccionado por mis padres cuando compartían la lectura de una hermosa novela cuya protagonista llevaba este nombre. Nací el 15 de febrero de 1983 en Pinar del Río, mis primeros años transcurrieron en San Juan y Martínez, zona rural de esta provincia. A los tres años mi papá comenzó a construir mi casa en la ciudad de Pinar del Río y nos mudamos. Ese sin lugar a dudas fue un hecho significativo en mi vida, era apenas una niña de tres años, la casa en condiciones mínimas habitable y para mí era el paraíso y hasta hoy lo es.
En ese hogar he vivido una vida muy feliz, primero al lado de mis padres y mi hermana, quienes me prodigaron todo su amor. En él aprendí el valor de la familia (lo más importante en la vida), de la armonía, la paz espiritual, la certeza de que en cualquier tiempo sea de apacible calma o tormenta y vendaval es refugio seguro, es nido que cobija.

Hoy esa casa construida por mi padre se amplía y agradezco a Dios por haber podido conformar una familia basada en un amor tan fuerte como el de mis progenitores. Tengo dos hijos, una niña de 13 años y un niño de 5 años, que nacieron bajo la bendición de la Inmaculada Concepción de la Virgen María el día 8 de diciembre. Ellos constituyen hoy mi mayor tesoro, son mi VIDA.

Desde temprana edad valoré mucho estar cerca de mi familia, así que cuando terminé el preuniversitario en la Vocacional Federico Engels con un alto promedio que auguraba una carrera élite, decidí estudiar Licenciatura en Estudios Socioculturales carrera que iniciaba y de la que pocos conocían. En la actualidad me siento feliz y orgullosa de ser graduada de esta área del conocimiento de las Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades. Me quedé impartiendo clases en la Universidad de Pinar del Río, donde actualmente formo parte del departamento de Gestión Sociocultural. Mi profesión de educadora es algo que disfruto cada día. La llegada al aula, el intercambio con mis estudiantes, la enseñanza a través de la reflexión y concientización de lo aprendido. Creo que viene en la sangre, mis padres fueron profesores y mi abuelo materno también.

En breve inicié estudios de maestría en La Universidad de La Habana en FLACSO, donde tuve un claustro de excelencia, no solo desde el ámbito del conocimiento científico sino desde lo más genuino de los sentimientos humanos. La tesis de maestría fue otro de los hechos significativos en mi vida ya que fue un acercamiento a una de las más grandes obras de amor que he conocido, el proyecto “Con AMOR Y ESPERANZA para niños con Síndrome de Down”. Allí me hice parte de esa familia de padres y madres que viven por el amor a un cromosoma de más. Seguramente en otros posts les estaré comentando esta mágica experiencia.

Después me gradué en el doctorado en Ciencias de la Educación de la mano de mi tutor, maestro, amigo y ya convertido por un sentimiento de familia el DrC. Lino Tomás Borroto López. Fue un tiempo inolvidable de recuerdos gratos que engrandecen el intelecto y el alma.
Hoy disfruto cada día al máximo en el calor de mi hogar. Mis padres en la serenidad de los años, mi hermana, aunque lejos, construyendo un nuevo porvenir, pero siempre juntas. Veo a mis hijos crecer, reír, sus ojos me trasmiten la alegría de la VIDA.

From an early age I valued being close to my family, so when I finished high school at the Federico Engels Vocational School with a high average that predicted an elite career, I decided to study a Bachelor's Degree in Sociocultural Studies, a career that was just beginning and which few knew about. Today I am happy and proud to be a graduate of this area of knowledge in the Social Sciences and Humanities. I remained teaching at the University of Pinar del Rio, where I am currently part of the Department of Sociocultural Management. My profession as an educator is something I enjoy every day. The arrival to the classroom, the exchange with my students, the teaching through reflection and awareness of what I have learned. I think it comes in the blood, my parents were teachers and my maternal grandfather too.
