Hola mis amigos de Hive!! Un cálido saludo a la familia que comparte este espacio de intercambio. Hoy quisiera hablar de un tema para mí sublime, los libros y su importancia en la infancia. Un libro es nuestro compañero más fiel, nos acompaña toda la vida y si es presentado por las manos de un familiar querido cobra un significado doble.
)Desde muy pequeña mis padres inculcaron en mí el amor por la lectura. Recuerdo que eran unos libros muy hermosos de carátulas fuertes y con ilustraciones llenas de colores brillantes que desataban mi imaginación de niña. Pero hay un recuerdo muy particular y que nunca he olvidado, fue cuando me presentaron La Edad de Oro libro escrito por nuestro José Martí para los niños. Fue un momento especial, el olor particular del libro nuevo es algo indescriptible.
)Hoy como madre comparto momentos maravillosos con mis niños a través de la lectura. El más pequeño tiene 5 añitos y sus ojos me hablan cuando leo. Cada noche antes de dormir busca un libro y a contar la historia porque si no: “mamá sin el cuento no me puedo dormir”.
Sus libros preferidos por el momento son: “Había una vez”, “Cuentos de la Luna llena”, “El principito” de Antoine de Sant Exuperi, entre otros.

Después de contar el cuento viene un momento que me resulta muy gratificante el análisis del mismo. Mi niño me narra con sus palabras lo sucedido y me dice “ese cuento me enseña…”. De esta forma no solo vive la emoción del cuento sino que se fomentan valores importantes que servirán como cimientos de su vida.
)Mi niña ya tiene 13 años, es una adolescente, y desde pequeña también le inculcamos el amor hacia los libros.

Hoy tiene lecturas propias de su edad que también compartimos como: la trilogía de “El Corsario Negro” de Emilio Salgari, “El capitán Tormenta” del mismo autor, Corazón de Edmundo de Amicis y como la pintura es su pasión disfruta del libro “The Usborne Book of Famous paintings” de Rosie Dickins.

El amor hacia los libros iniciado desde la niñez nos acompañará toda la vida. Es como algo que nunca más podremos dejar a un lado, es el complemento de nuestra felicidad interior. Por eso llenar la vida de nuestros pequeños de libros fortalecerá su alma, hará volar su imaginación, puedes estar seguro serán más felices y mejores personas.

After telling the story comes a moment that I find very gratifying to analyze. My child tells me in his own words what happened and says "that story teaches me...".
