Discovering A Government Palace Stopped in Time

Hello friends, I hope you are very well, this is my first publication in the community, in order to share a little of the city, understanding that Hive reaches millions of people around the world and so we can exchange cultures, experiences and infrastructure of our different cities.

In this opportunity to leave the university where I am doing a post degree in linguistics, I wanted to pass by this emblematic place of Maturin, iconic site, located in the central area of the city and which in turn is a reference point for everyone.

I am talking about the Gobernación del estado Monagas or also known as the government palace, which is located in the city of Maturin, Venezuela. This building has two floors and basically looks like a hacienda, a house with certain old features and internally has a garden and being in that place your mind imagines that it is anywhere else, except in the center of the city.

Hola amigos, espero estén muy bien, esta es mi primera publicación en la comunidad, con el fin de compartirles un poco de la ciudad, entendiendo que Hive llega a millones de personas en todo el mundo y así podemos intercambiar culturas, experiencias e infraestructura de nuestras diferentes ciudades.
En esta oportunidad al salir de la universidad donde realizo un post grado en linguistica, quise pasar por este emblematico lugar de Maturín, sitio icónico, ubicado en el casco central de la ciudad y el cual a su vez es un punto de referencia para todos.
Les hablo de la Gobernación del estado Monagas o el también conocido como el palacio de gobierno, el cual está ubicado en la ciudad de Maturín, en Venezuela. Esta edificación es de dos plantas y basicamente se ve como una hacienda, una casa con ciertas caracteristicas antiguas e internamente posee un jardin y al estar en ese lugar tu mente se imagina que esta en cualquier otro sitio, menos en el centro de la ciudad.

And this is due to the fact that this infrastructure began its construction in 1945, being officially inaugurated in 1949. This government house has been remodeled in order to preserve the infrastructure in good condition, however, all the work done preserves the same facade and old finishes intermingled with nature.

In the internal area of the governor's office we can find works of art on its walls that are really beautiful, with internal and external walls of white color, very clean and has always kept this white color as a characteristic feature, as well as glass with engraved designs and a fountain in the central area of the garden with a little strange pes that I did not know what it was ha, ha, ha, ha.

And the pes was very particular because it had the head of a dragon and the body of a fish or aquatic animal, this fountain is also old and we did not know the name of the animal hahahaha.

Y esto se debe a que esta infraestructura inició su construcción en año 1945, siendo inaugurada oficialmente en el año 1949. Esta casa de gobierno ha sido remodelada a fin de conservar la insfraestructura en buen estado, sin embargo, todos los trabajos realizados conservan la misma fachada y acabados antiguos entremezclados con naturaleza.
En el área interna de la gobernación podemos encontrar obras de artes en sus paredes que son realmente hermosas, con paredes internas y externas de color blanco, muy limpia y siempre ha conservado este color blanco como rasgo carateristicos, así como vidrios con diseños grabados y una fuente en el área central del jardin con un pes un poco extraño que no supe cual era ja, ja, ja.
Y es que el pes era muy particular porque tenía cabeza de dragon y cuerpo de pez o animal acuatico, esta fuente también es antigua y no supimos el nombre del animal jajajaja.

Luckily I had the support of the police, who allowed me to enter the government palace, where some of the most important administrative offices of the governor's office are located and very close to other government offices such as the comptroller's office and the notary's office, as well as the Bolivar square.

This building is impeccably preserved, the atmosphere of the place is incredible, it looks more like a hacienda, where one could live, you can breathe a very nice energy there, white walls, beautiful trees and good size just inside in the center of the infrastructure.

Also in the outside area there are several flags and it is also surrounded by many trees and palm trees, I loved it and that is why I am sharing it with much affection, part of my urban exploration of the day.

Por suerte conté con el apoyo de los policias, quienes me permitieron entrar al palacio de gobierno, donde funcionan alguna de las oficinas administrativas más importantes de la gobernación y muy cercana otras oficinas gubernamentales como la contraloria y la notaría, además de la plaza Bolívar.
Este edificio se conserva impecable, el ambiente del lugar es increíble, parece más bien una hacienda, donde uno pudiera vivir, se respira una energia muy agradable allí, paredes blancas, arboles bonitos y de buen tamaño justo adentro en el centro de la infraestructura.
También el el área externa están isadas varias banderas y también está rodeado de muchos árboles y palmeras, a mi me encantó y por eso con mucho cariño se los comparto, parte de mi exploración urbana de el día.

This infrastructure is guarded by the state police and in what looked like rooms of the hacienda, are actually administrative offices, everything was silent, carved wooden doors, everyone focused on their work and stairs with antique finishes, but beautiful.

Esta infraestructura está custodiada por la policia del estado y en lo que parecieran habitaciones de la hacienda, son realmente oficinas administrativas, todo estaba en silencio, puertas de maderas talladas, cada quien enfocado en su trabajo y sus escaleras con acabados antiguos, pero hermosos.
