¡Hola a todos y bienvenidos a mi blog! Soy Yeli Marín y hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un atuendo que elegí para ir a la oficina en lo que se perfilaba como un día ajetreado. Mi objetivo era claro: no sacrificar la comodidad por el estilo. Como ya saben, para mí es fundamental sentirme cómoda y verme bien, ya que eso me da confianza, me hace sentir más productiva y me sube el ánimo.

En esta ocasión, opté por una combinación en tonos neutros donde el gris fue el protagonista. Esta elección es ideal para ambientes de trabajo que buscan un equilibrio entre lo casual y lo profesional. Para mi outfit de hoy, utilicé unos jeans claros. Sé que para algunos el tema de los jeans en la oficina no es bien visto, pero al ser periodista, no necesito vestirme de manera elegante o ejecutiva; mi trabajo es dinámico.

En un mismo día puedo estar en mi oficina, luego en alguna actividad en la calle y así sucesivamente; nunca sé qué me deparará el día. Por eso, la comodidad debe prevalecer siempre, y mis estilos tienden a ser casuales. El jean que elegí era un skinny de color limpio, sin detalles ni rasgaduras, lo que lo convirtió en una base ideal y versátil para comenzar mi jornada.

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! I'm Yeli Marín and today I want to share with you an outfit I chose to go to the office on what was shaping up to be a busy day. My goal was clear: not to sacrifice comfort for style. As you know, for me it is essential to feel comfortable and look good, as it gives me confidence, makes me feel more productive and boosts my mood.

A perfect balance between casual and professional

On this occasion, I opted for a combination in neutral tones where gray was the protagonist. This choice is ideal for work environments that seek a balance between casual and professional. For my outfit today, I used light jeans. I know that for some people, jeans in the office is not well seen, but being a journalist, I don't need to dress in an elegant or executive way; my work is dynamic.

In the same day I can be in my office, then in some activity on the street and so on; I never know what the day will bring. That's why comfort must always prevail, and my styles tend to be casual. The jean I chose was a clean colored skinny, with no details or rips, which made it an ideal and versatile base to start my day.

Para la parte superior, escogí una blusa gris muy bonita con mangas oversize y un fruncido en el centro que le da un toque muy atractivo, añadiendo interés a la prenda.

Comodidad que se adapta a todo el día

Para complementar mi vestuario de hoy, utilicé un cárdigan del mismo color de la blusa. Lo compré hace poco y el color me encanta. Tiene dos bolsillos a los lados y me siento abrigada con él, a pesar de que su tela acanalada es muy fresca. Este cárdigan me ha sido muy útil para el clima de mi ciudad, donde de repente puede estar lloviendo y en cuestión de minutos sale un sol intenso.

Pero en este caso, mi cárdigan fue un aliado ideal para la temperatura de mi oficina, que suele ser fría constantemente, y los ambientes fríos no me gustan. Como les he comentado, la comodidad para mí no tiene discusión y siempre será mi elección predilecta, así que utilicé unos deportivos que me encantan, en una combinación de gris claro y morado suave.

Estos zapatos los usé con unas medias tobilleras que apenas se veían; de verdad, no sé cómo hay personas que pueden usar zapatos sin medias, ¡yo no puedo! Hoy me tocó subir y bajar escaleras y estar en movimiento por un buen rato, luego dirigir algunas cosas, y la verdad es que mi atuendo funcionó perfecto para todo lo que hice en el día. Me sentía bonita y arreglada.

For the top, I chose a very pretty gray blouse with oversized sleeves and a gathered center that gives it a very attractive touch, adding interest to the garment.

Comfort that fits all day long.

To complement my outfit today, I used a cardigan in the same color as the blouse. I bought it recently and I love the color. It has two pockets on the sides and I feel warm in it, even though its ribbed fabric is very cool. This cardigan has been very useful for the weather in my city, where it can suddenly be raining and in a matter of minutes a bright sun comes out.

But in this case, my cardigan was an ideal ally for the temperature in my office, which tends to be constantly cold, and I don't like cold environments. As I told you, comfort for me has no discussion and will always be my favorite choice, so I used some sneakers that I love, in a combination of light gray and soft purple.

I wore these shoes with ankle socks that were barely visible; I really don't know how some people can wear shoes without socks, I can't! Today I had to go up and down stairs and be on the move for quite a while, then run a few things, and the truth is that my outfit worked perfect for everything I did in the day. I felt pretty and put together.

Detalles que marcan la diferencia

En cuanto al cabello, dejé que fuera el protagonista. Opté por llevarlo rizado, mostrando su volumen y naturalidad. Mi cabello me caracteriza, por eso siempre le doy protagonismo. A esto le sumé un maquillaje con una base sutil, enfocándome en los labios.

En esta oportunidad quise que mis labios fuesen los protagonistas, por eso usé un labial oscuro en color morado que me encanta y que tenía tiempo sin usar. La verdad es que me gustó mucho el resultado; todo el maquillaje se centraba en mis labios y me sentía muy bien, fresca y muy cómoda. Este outfit es una muestra de que se puede lograr un equilibrio perfecto entre comodidad y estilo para ir a la oficina, sintiéndome segura para enfrentar cualquier tarea del día.

Creo firmemente que la ropa y el calzado que usamos nos proyectan y nos hacen sentir de formas distintas; es lo que elegimos mostrar al mundo. Mi combinación en tonos grises de hoy me encantó, se adaptó muy fácil a mi día, y es ideal para sentirme cómoda y con estilo.

Details that make the difference

As for the hair, I let it be the protagonist. I chose to wear it curly, showing its volume and naturalness. My hair characterizes me, that's why I always give it prominence. To this I added a makeup with a subtle base, focusing on the lips.

This time I wanted my lips to be the protagonists, so I used a dark purple lipstick that I love and that I hadn't used for a long time. The truth is that I really liked the result; all the makeup was focused on my lips and I felt very good, fresh and very comfortable. This outfit is a proof that you can achieve a perfect balance between comfort and style to go to the office, feeling confident to face any task of the day.

I firmly believe that the clothes and shoes we wear project us and make us feel in different ways; it's what we choose to show to the world. I loved my gray combination today, it fit very easily into my day, and it's ideal to feel comfortable and stylish.
