Desde que tengo uso de razón tengo una gran emoción por el comienzo de cada año nuevo, y el motivo no es por el año, sino por la fecha.
Hoy es un día especial para mí, y es que está cumpliendo años, la persona más importante en mi vida, mi madre. Esa luz que ilumina mi camino, la fuerza que me impulsa a seguir adelante y mi ejemplo de amor incondicional.

For as long as I can remember I have been very excited about the beginning of each new year, and the reason is not because of the year, but because of the date.
Today is a special day for me, because it is the birthday of the most important person in my life, my mother. That light that illuminates my path, the strength that drives me forward and my example of unconditional love.

Entonces acabé dándole un fuerte abrazo y agradeciendo de tenerla a mi lado cada día, ofreciéndome sus consejos y brindándome su apoyo ante cualquier situación.

No hay mejor plan para ella que pasar su cumpleaños con tranquilidad y junto a tu familia. Por tal motivo, hoy, habiendo frío y lloviznando a cada rato, no fue motivo suficiente para impedirnos pasar el día en casa de mi abuelo, donde también se encontraba toda mi familia materna.
Al llegar allí no pudo haber mejor recibimiento que un cálido abrazo y una enorme sonrisa que nos decía sin utilizar las palabras cuánta alegría tenían de vernos allá.

Pasar el día con mi familia materna es algo que, aunque no lo hacemos con frecuencia, nos gusta mucho. Allí el tiempo pasa volando, y siempre logramos olvidar los problemas o preocupaciones entre chistes y anécdotas. Sin dudas hoy ha sido el primer día del año con tanta emoción y felicidad ya que esa persona cuya sonrisa es mi mayor alegría, hoy, no dejó de sonreír.
Spending the day with my mother's family is something that, although we don't do it often, we enjoy very much. Time flies by there, and we always manage to forget our problems or worries amidst jokes and anecdotes. Undoubtedly today has been the first day of the year with so much emotion and happiness because that person whose smile is my greatest joy, today, did not stop smiling.
