Hello Hivers...

This post is my entry for the Landscape Photography contest hosted by @Photofeed. If you would like to enter, please read and follow the rules here

The Blang Keujeuren Gardens in Gayo Lues, Aceh, shown in the photo I'm sharing, offer a captivating and pristine natural landscape. Surrounded by towering green hills and slopes covered in a variety of trees and shrubs, this area exudes a sense of serenity that's hard to find in urban areas. The thin mist that shrouds the hilltops adds a mystical and soothing feel. The cool air and serenity make Blang Keujeuren a perfect place to unwind from the daily grind.

Amidst this expanse of nature, a simple hut is visible, made from natural materials such as bamboo, wood, and leaves. Its roof is covered with blue plastic for added protection from the rain, demonstrating local wisdom in utilizing existing resources. This hut bears silent witness to the lives of farmers who depend on agricultural products, such as vegetables, coffee, and spices that grow abundantly on the hillsides. The presence of this hut emphasizes the role of humans in maintaining harmony with nature.

The Blang Keujeuren Garden not only offers visual beauty but also holds important cultural and ecological values. Traditional agricultural activities reflect local wisdom that harmonizes with nature. This place offers a profound experience for anyone who visits—a lesson in simplicity, perseverance, and the connection between humans and nature. The beauty of this landscape is a vivid illustration that life on the hillsides is not only harsh but also full of meaning.
